That is a problem with Israel as a nuclear power running totally unchecked, rather than a problem with the S300.

The Syrian air defense won't shoot down any planes that aren't within their airspace because Israel is itching for an excuse to get ground troops involved. Meanwhile Israeli airplanes can bomb targets in Syria without entering Syrian airspace. And nobody will call Israel out on this BS because they have a stockpile of nukes and are insane enough to use them.

Maybe if Israel used passenger airlines to bomb Syria the missile systems would be more effective
