I just realized they dropped the UK residency requirement for commonwealth citizens to join the Army/Navy (but not the airforce).
This means we can apply from outside the UK and its a 4 year gateway to permanent UK residency for all of us.
Now the only question is which role in which branch should I go for (27 with an accounting degree I hate)?

Bare in mind most people join the military because they have no prospects and it's the only way they can find employment.
