I think the vast majority of public servants in senior positions throughout the US have the best interests of the people of the United States at heart, and that their organizations have institutional memories that continue to guide them in a way that is positive for the country. In short, I have faith that we have professionals and experts at all levels of government and I don’t think we should just ignore or now demonize them because they say something we aren’t comfortable hearing.
