Does anyone else feel like we've just experienced a straight up communist takeover? I knew things were bad but I think they're outright totalitarian now, with an increasingly thin veil over it. Can't go outside without a mask, just like you couldn't go out without your party member card.

Unfortunately, this is a real disease that is going to kill exponentially more people once social distancing is eased. Even the high end estimates show that only 15% of the population has been infected. That leaves 85% left who will eventually contract this virus. How the fuck could you possibly say "it's just a flu".
