>Do you think the manifesto would've gained more traction in its time if Ted killed more people?
No.
Ted was and is a piece of shit. He engaged in some thoroughly cowardly and unforgivable stuff. 'Hell' doesn't exist obviously, but if it did, Ted would be a prime candidate.
In spite of all of this, his written works are 'unchallengeable' thru logic. His take on tech-civ is only dwarfed by Jacques Ellul's work on this subject.
TL;DR: Ted will burn in Hell. But his books are truth on a platter.
Are downloads okay? Hardcopies I can't say of course I am not Canadian/

Has anybody here read Jean Baudrillard and his work on hyper-reality?
While it’s not totally in line with works on technology or technique, I think it’s a very interesting supplement. Rather than efficiency of method or physical manifestations of such, Baudrillard goes a step beyond into virtuality and the digital consequences of technology.
Christopher Scott
>Has anybody here read Jean Baudrillard and his work on hyper-reality?
Was actually in the same room with him several years ago. True story.
>Baudrillard goes a step beyond into virtuality and the digital consequences of technology.
More on this bls.... qrd.

Did Ted really think we'd ever be able to tear down the system? How could we ever go back to primitive living without a major worldwide catastrophe?
Ian Diaz
When would you say technology started to increase exponentially instead of linearly and what was the root cause? I would say mid 1800s and fossil fuels
Isaac Lee
>How could we ever go back to primitive living without a major worldwide catastrophe? We can't. We're already far beyond carrying capacity with technology.
Luke Walker
>Ted was evil I would disagree. I’m not saying ted was an angel, but I think he was just driven crazy by the technological system and just wanted to be alone. He wasn’t “good”. He wasn’t “evil”. He was just a beast trying to return to the wild, acting as any beast would.

Ultra high IQ people have alot of problems. They are rarely conventionally successful. Normal people are like animals in comparison and they just can't relate to mainstream society

Roger Scruton is a better starting point for anti-left environmentalism tbqh

I have feeling there's people autistic enough who are already tedpilled even without the help of Yas Forums. And I mean autistic enough to live innawoods and keep him updated on what's going on in the world. Maybe in the future i'll mail him too. But I trust Americans are the better candidates in this regard.
>Do you think the manifesto would've gained more traction in its time if Ted killed more people? It would have gained traction if he destroyed a national symbol with zero casualties. Once you start killing random people, especially children, you pretty much set your ideology back 50 years
Carter Howard
Gimme a rundown of what you guys believe in. I agree that the industrial revolution and its consequences have been a disaster . But what else ? what exactly is the solution short of moving to a cabin in the wilderness and living off the land? what are your societal views ? gimme the pill

>Roger Scruton is a better starting point for anti-left environmentalism tbqh
'Environmentalism' is an integral part of the problem. Greenpeace is a good example of this. Once they get enough exposure (and funding, lol....) they 'magically' become de facto regulators of how much damage to Wild Nature is 'acceptable'. i.e. they are always pushing for laws and regulations, (thus perfecting and expanding political/judicial technique and consequently improving the exploitation of Wild Nature) yet NEVER do they strive for 'abolishing' the technical complex as a whole.
TL;DR: So-called 'environmentalists' serve a pro-system propagandistic function, precisely by portraying themselves as anti-system. Many such cases....
