I remember 5-6 years ago atheism was very popular and youtubers like The Amazing Atheist, Jaclyn Glenn, Cult of Dusty and DarkMatter2525 were blowing up. Now all their channels are dead.
Daniel Dennett faced into obscurity, Christopher Hitchens died, Richard Dawkins cant get anyone to show up to his events and Sam Harris got “cancelled”.
they realized they talked like fags and their shit was all retarded
Parker Rogers
the people who loved watching atheists bash christians moved on to enjoy watching neocons like Shapiro and Peterson bash SJWs. Same game, different players.
Nolan Ward
they all either became alt-right or commies
Mason Watson
Agenda shift. You can't have anti-religious NPCs now that shitslam is here.
Noah Harris
i still like richard dawkins. he’s pretty based
Cooper Watson
People accepted evolution a little too much, they started asking if blacks and whites were equal and it died. If you listen to Murdoch Murdoch's first AMA a lot of alt righters came out of the nu atheist movement because they had genuine questions about evolution and got banned from r'ddit over it
The power of Christ is stronger than a bunch of atheistic Anglos.
Jayden Barnes
Because there’s only so much of listening to an annoying gaytheist talk about how edgy they are for no believing in God that people can take.
Oliver Stewart
To the extent that the New Atheist 'movement' was indeed a movement, it was carried hard by Christopher Hitchens who was by far the best public speaker of the four. When he died, the other three were not able to keep the momentum going.
The Atheist Experience is still going, but I think decades of arguing with fucking mongs has worn Matt Dillahunty down at this point. There's also some new stuff like Street Epistemology that has popped up.
Everyone realized they're crypto jews weakening christianity in order to install Islam as the global religion of the permanent, brown, rootless underclass
Eli Morgan
Atheism by it's design is an evolutionary dead end. People don't breed at replaceable rates.
Robert Allen
atheism is a necessary stage in an intellectual's development but has to be transcended at some point.
Ayden Price
Because of religious minorities. Atheists belong to privileged class.
Jonathan Rivera
As nonsensical as it sounds, I think the "fedora" bullshit had a lot to do with the decline in atheism. Atheist posters used to froth at the fucking mouth when a religious statement was made and would bend over backwards to tear it apart, but then everyone started in with the fedora memes and it died out pretty quickly.
Now, were they so weak willed and not convinced of their own beliefs that they allowed a meme to destroy them? We'll never know...
Islamophobia was weaponized just like Hitchens predicted it would.
Dominic Turner
1. They got cancelled by SJWs for being islamaphobic 2. They're just not vocal anymore after the tips fedora shit Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they don't exist, user. That's called object permanence.
Because it was such a weak movment with no spine to it. The people who followed this atheist moment didn't actually give a shit about it, they just wanted to do what they wanted ie fornication, sodomy, trans and it died out to a more solid movement like islam, race and political sides.
Joshua Jenkins
In the time when whites are becoming a minority everywhere, a banana ass fagot is the least relevant thing to listen.
Gabriel Rodriguez
Didn't it get consumed into the GamerGate movement? And then consumed into the Alt Right movement? And then consumed into the Trump movement? And then get consumed into capitalist philosopher movement?
Jaxon Perez
Maybe calling everyone you disagree with retarded just drives people away from you.
Asher Gomez
Same thing happened to MGTOW. barbar seems to have given up, manwomanmyth tried to kill himself and got brain damaged, even a newer MGTOW producer. 'liberation y' now has cancer.
Yas Forums died too. I blame normies. Or cosmic rays or something because what the hell happened to the world.
Luis Harris
Dawkins is terrified of taking his own work to its logical conclusion: a deterministic universe where there is only conflict and war, fueled by an eternal rage of memetic and genetic replicators. (I'm sold) Hitchens: arrogant eternal Anglo. Always taking the high route, always failed to get past go. (((Harris))): drug-abusing hippie who found that everything is love in a trip. Dennet: Good guy. Speaks only in sound logic but he's never leaving his academic comfort zone. The implications of what he puts on the table doesn't interest him. (goes hand in hand with what Dawkins says, he just can't be bothered to speculate.)
What needs to be done for those who wants to follow their path: Come to terms with what a physicalist and deterministic reality would mean. Equality is a construct, morality is a construct, human value is a construct. Resources are finite, lebensraum limited and the only thing true, regarding humanity, is that we are in an eternal struggle if we wish to propagate onward through time.
Limp-wristed liberal 'agnostic' types like the Cenk Uygurs and the Glenn Greenwalds of the world managed to convince their self-hating peers that the 'New Atheists' were all racists which I suppose took a lot of wind out of the sails of the movement.
Watch Sam Harris' debate with Cenk Uygur or his exchange with the shitty Batman actor on Bill Maher's show a couple years back to see this play out in real time.
There’s still absolute legends and scholars like Milwaukee Atheists.
Elijah Hill
Yeah, it's funny how Cenk Uygur endlessly whines about how American progressives unfairly get vilified and pushed to the side by Democratic centrists by the mainstream media which they have no hope of combatting when he and Reza Aslan and cohorts of their ilk banded together to pull the same number on Sam Harris and the other prominent Atheists and have them ostracised as racist bigots when it was always about the ideas in Islam and not a Muslim 'race' (which is a ridiculous concept).
