Palestinians have the highest standard of living in the entire Middle East (outside of the oil kingdoms) and even have a higher standard of living than just about every country south of our border, not to mention the entirety of Africa and most of Southeast Asia.
Life in the territories really isn't that bad. During the refugee crisis, you had tons of Africans, Pakistanis, Afghans, Iraqis, Syrians, and Bengalis, but no Palestinians were risking their life to migrate to Europe. Why? Because life isn't that bad.
Have a look at this video. They all say they're suffering because of "checkpoints" and "difficulty traveling" while they have bowling alleys, swimming pools, fast food restaurants, cafes, and shopping malls.
