They're based.

There's a nigger above me

Because if you put the words "Adidas" and "slav" together, it's an anagram for "salad divas"

I dont think I need to explain the rest to you

because the design never changes so you could have a tracksuit from 5 years ago it it looks the same as new ones

Adidas sponsored the communist Russian Olympics teams back in the 80s so it became a trend that never died

The USSR's centrally planned economy prioritized heavy industry (particularly anything military-related) above all, so factories responsible for making consumer goods were far lower down the proverbial food chain when it came to resources. This coupled with the lack of supply and demand led to frequent shortages of damn near every item imaginable, most notably clothing and footwear.
As a result, everyone wore the same generic "better than nothing" stuff, often in completely wrong sizes. High-quality sportswear in particular was practically unheard of.

To make matters worse, average people in the Soviet Union had little to no contact with the outside world, which led to a HUGE fascination with stuff from the "other side". Even really mundane items like plastic bags and ball-point pens were practically seen as magical artifacts because nothing comparable was available in the USSR. Getting your hands on anything from the fabled outside world required good connections (you either knew someone who knew someone whose job actually enabled them to go abroad and bring something back, or you were lucky enough to have a relative living in the West who could send you things in the mail) and/or sizable amounts of money, so anyone who actually managed to pull it off instantly became the envy of their peers. If you saw a guy walking down the street in a tracksuit, you immediately knew he was the fucking man and could make things happen.

When the USSR collapsed, the market was flooded with hand-me-downs from the West and people ate that shit right up. However, the tracksuit's association with success and status still lingered on in public consciousness, so it became the go-to outit for petty criminals who wanted to LARP as bigshots.

TL;DR: The fascination with tracksuits is just a throwback to an era when they were considered a symbol of unobtainable Western excess

Because adidas was expensive back in the day and only connected people or gangsters that could obtain it from other countries could have it so it became symbol of wealth and to this day the meme of it being cool by lower classes lingers on.

they are Gipsy prostitutes

How come this didn't happened with tailored suits and niggers in the US?

I mean, gangsters used to dress fashionably, then niggers be nigging? Seems horrible how they ruin even that.

they are very commonly faked too so literally in every eastern country u will find em on the market for 10€ for the whole tracksuit. Real one are more prestigious but even more popular it is just for the image of having western luxury clothing, an image still many live off due to the scarcity of brands and individualism in the soviet days

t. half german half czech

sauce?

Thanks for clearing that up. I've always wondered.

It is/was part of slavic youth sub-culture where wearing a tracksuit was part of it, they were called dresiarze . Fought them once with NS heavy metal bros before a Honor koncert.

Because Slavs are attractive people and they don't have to dress well because they look good anyway. Tracksuits are comfortable.

those women are gorgeous.

One stripe in the night make me feel alright, three stripes on my body make my swag real tight.

slavs love sets of long straight lines as it soothes their inner automaton robot existential anguish

Get a "Burberry" iconic men's flexible track suit.
