The Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sued the
US government in an attempt to reveal the safety reports that received the response,
"The Departments search for records did not locate any records responsive to your
request". 31
According to a legal document entitled, "Mandate for Safer Childhood Vaccines,"
Health and Human Services (HHS) openly admitted,
"to not having filed any vaccine safety reports in over 30 years!" 32
The next CDC study to run into a controversy was when Dr William Thompson,
CDC Immunization Safety Researcher, turned whistleblower and handed over 10,000
documents he was asked to destroy to the US Congress that revealed gross incongruities
in the CDC DeStefano study published in 2002 that investigated the role of MMR vaccines
in autism in a bid to refute the 1998 investigation by Dr Andrew Wakefield.
After Dr. Brian Hooker's requests through the Freedom of Information Act for original
MMR study documentation Dr. Thompson, the co-author, buckled under the pressure of his
conscience to hand over documents he was asked to destroy that demonstrated a 3.4 fold
increase in the incidence of autism in African American boys, expunged from the final
study results in an act of scientific fraud. 54

Author Tim O’Shea made some very noteworthy statements in his book regarding the
flu shot:

form. With influenza, by the time the virus is isolated, cultured for manufacture,

Americans were contaminated with leukemia and cancer viruses. In response, his

They then suggest that because these vaccines are first tested in Russia, they will

A new study using data from the US government’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting
System (VAERS) shows that the more vaccines given, the more likely children will
die or be hospitalized.
The increased rates are highly significant, with a 50% greater chance of death with
doubling the number of vaccines and more than 100% increase in hospitalizations -
that’s double the number of hospital visits!
VAERS is recognized to contain only a small percentage of all adverse vaccination
events.
As G.S. Goldman and N.Z. Miller point out,
[A] confidential study conducted by Connaught Laboratories, a vaccine manufacturer,
indicated that ‘‘a fifty-fold under-reporting of adverse events’’ is likely.
According to David Kessler, former commissioner of the FDA, ‘‘only about one percent
of serious events [adverse drug reactions] are reported.

One publication of medical research linking the MMR vaccine to autism in The Lancet
in February 1998 sparked a decade-long controversy about the triple jab. Following
the initial publication, the uptake rate of the MMR vaccine dropped from 92% in
1997/98 to 80% in 2003/04.
A report examines how the response to the MMR controversy varied between parents with
different levels of education.
It revealed that:
Before 1998, highly educated parents were up to 8% more likely to take up the MMR
vaccine than parents with lower education.
By 2002, this gap had not only closed; it had actually been reversed, with highly
educated parents being 2-3% less likely to accept the MMR vaccine.
Most of the relative decline in the MMR uptake by highly educated parents occurred
soon after the controversy broke when the media coverage was still relatively low.
After the increased media attention in 2001 and 2002, there were no discernible
differences in trends across educational groups.
The controversy also appears to have had effects on the uptake of other childhood
vaccines: after 1998, highly educated parents also reduced their relative uptake of
other non-controversial childhood vaccines.
A 2004 study by researchers from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control showed children
who hadn't received any shots at all,
"tended to be white, to have a mother who was married and had a college degree,
to live in a household with an annual income exceeding $75,000 and to have parents
who expressed concerns regarding the safety of vaccines and indicated that medical
doctors have little influence over vaccination decisions for their children," said the
study, published in the journal Pediatrics.
