Redpill me on Georgism

aka Geoism. I keep seeing it mentioned randomly. Is Yas Forums in favor of it?

Bump, been seeing it as well. Is it a growing movement or some esoteric bullshit the kikes want us to believe to control us

Not sure. It's centered on land rent I guess. Maybe it's too esoteric for Yas Forums I read it was the counter to Marxism and apparently the founder and Marx were bitter enemies

Yeah this one's way over Yas Forumss head maybe try a high IQ board like /lit/ or /his/

Ok thanks for the advice

They should be able to help

It's one of the best systems but Yas Forums is definitely not intelligent enough to discuss it

They sort of are when talking about landlords but not explicitly, try /his/

This. Try a high IQ board, Georgism, like distributism, is too far outside the dialectic for this hellscape

Nice series of buzzwords. It would be a shame if you had to actually articulate a theory and defend it in a debate. More idealism divide and conquer. The system is irrelevant. Natural law trumps all.

Sort of yes, although really landlording wouldn't even be a thing in Georgism, at least not much of one

Don't feel bad user, most people here don't know what georgism is and as a result feel threatened by it, you're not alone.

Why are they threatened? I'm confused.

Wouldn't landlords make so little money that they would basically cease to be a profitable business model?

Also checked

Basically this seems to be true. Jews hate discussing Georgism, it's supposed to be 110% memory holed. No one is supposed to even remember that Marxism had an opposite or what that opposite proposed. The new opposite is muh freedumb capitalist consooooomer Georgism is way too threatening

But if it's so threatening, wouldn't that be a prime topic for Yas Forums?

Test

Very in favour of Georgism.

We use this economic model on hydropowered waterfalls and the petroleum industry

The ground rent is about 30% for hydro and 70% for petroleum.

It's one of the main reasons why Norway is a successful state.

3-way Chad/Virgin memes are gayer than a gay interracial 3-way.

Georgism isn't just about a tax on the value of land instead of the buildings, there are more parts to it:
wealthandwant.com/docs/Hartzok_citdivs_oil.html
It also means that the government owns all land and resources, and that if the land has good shit on it you pay way more. Although the wiki page doesn't mention Alaska, they also participate in it, sort of.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgism#Reception
Many groups are aligned against it:
Neoconservatives
Neoliberals/freemarketeers
Commies

There are a few examples of it making the rounds, though.

People fear what they do not understand. Its a interesting system but i lack the sociological economic degrees to explain it coherently.

The main philosophy is that things witch one don't create, should be divided among the people. For example oil, no man created the oil reserves, or no man made the river that now produce electricity

So, coupled with Gotfrid economics, it may be viable.

I don't think Georgism can serve as the sole economic theory , but it is useful in many industries

Notable Georgists

Distributism is the real red pill

It's just another flavor of communism where unemployed and unemployable losers fantasize about getting free shit with no work. It's very probably Jewish, watch the pilpul unfold as one of these entitled shits comes along and tries to dance around advocating theft.

How is it any way related to communism?

It was created to be a counter to communism, actually.

>How is it any way related to communism?
Because it's just another fantasy of the unemployed and unemployable to steal shit you didn't earn from those who are more successful than you.

"Workers seize the means of production" turns into "The people own all the land". It's the same shit. You're advocating theft. You want land? Go out and fucking get a job and buy some.

Theft of private property aside, I'm sure this would completely fall apart in reality just like every other collectivist fairy tale.

This, it's basically the opposite of communism in every way. It's supposed to the the true dialectical opposite of Marxism.

If you have no idea what you're talking about, why spout off about it? Serious question.

>crickets

I'm actually working you worthless parasites. But OK, I'll bite. Tell me how this isn't theft of someone else's property and wealth redistribution?
