Vaccines are not disinfectants, they are a weakened form of the virus that do not cause an infection but allows your immune system to develop antibodies against it so in the event that you should be exposed to the real deal, your body is already two steps ahead. Vaccines do not work if you already have the virus.

Incorrect. They are not weakened forms of the virus, they are genetic garbage that triggers an immune response and creates antibodies similar to what your body would create if it were infected by the virus. They are still an infection, your body does not produce antibodies unless there is an infection.
Getting the vaccine only shortens the period before your body respnds from 7-10 days down to 3-5 days. It doesn't stop you from carrying it asymptomatically for 3-5 days, potentially transmitting it everywhere you go before you know you're sick.
