Are long lockdowns impossible without rebellion?

In the UK and even in the US and much of Europe?

I find myself at breaking point personally after 5 weeks of imprisonment.
However, that is just me. Does anyone else think it's foolish for governments to assume the population will stay on lockdown for months longer?
Lives put on pause, no way to plan anything and nothing to do. I think after not much longer people will rebel to it, especially if they think they can stop and start it till the end of the year, ensuring life is on pause and no plans can be made indefinitely.

Many, even old people, will rather catch it at that point.
The ONLY people i've seen who don't mind it are:
>Lazy fuckers or people with shit jobs who love sitting at home drinking beer watching TV and collecting free money. aimless losers
>Neets who's lives haven't changed and happily sit in a room all year watching anime and porn while giving up on life. losers

The revolts are beginning in the US. Unless you count the nigger riots in France. I don't count those because it's normal behavior.

Had a chat yesterday while queuing up at Halfords random guy thinks the governments prodding a dog with a stick and we are 3 weeks from kicking off.

Most people I know are ignoring rules to see family round houses. How are smack heads coping ?

Hell yeah I am enjoying this lockdown, hopefully more people like you die and the lockdown lasts up to next year!!!

Based wageslave

People at my work are saying the virus is a hoax and fuck bill gates. Yes I'm still going to work.

I’ve been going for a long walks in the fields listening to pod casts life’s not so bad maybe you just have depression or something

In the UK data shows people are starting to ignore it.
They track search terms for directions, and road traffic is increasing.

I think people even if not realisng the economic damage being caused, are starting to get angst against their freedoms being stolen when they know most the population has a 0.2% mortaltiy rate for COVID.

It's starting to look like an experiment now, governments want to see how far they can take freedoms away and keep this data for later, or even just keep some of our freedoms away long after this.

Way more people died to get these freedoms over generations, and we are now losing them casually

I don't envy you even as a wagie. seriously. I was a neet before and that life is fucking depression incarnate.
Being a wagie is life balance. You get money and freedom to do shit. you can work for periods of time and fuck of to a SEA shithole if thats your thing. Or just have a balance and spend money and do stuff you enjoy.

Being a poor Neet is WROSE than the average wagie. You idiots don't get that. A poor neet has much less freedom than the average wagie.

By summer time you'll see all but the most paranoid, or the extremely old and frail, return to their normal day lives, regardless of any hysteria the media attempts to drum up. Which has me worried that we might see Them take drastic measures to keep this lockdown going as long as possible. They're not above false flag attacks on the people.

Babbies first stint in prison

>The revolts are beginning in the US.
Lol no they aren't no is affaid of a bunch of fat boomers with plate carriers. The lock down in Michigan was actually extended by three weeks after their gay little protest

Personally I'm waiting for the junkie uprising. In Western Australia they've banned inter-state and intra-state travel. Most of our junkies live in the capital city but pretty much all the drugs are produced elsewhere in the state meaning the drugs aren't getting into the city and all of the junkies pretty much just got forced to stop cold turkey. Exciting times ahead.

If they try extend it with more authoritarian measures nobody will vote for that government ever again. People will sill rebel even harder with they do that, with guns. REAL riots will start at that point.

People would rather die of COVID than have their freedom taken away long term. it is simple. people died by the millions to have that freedom in the first place.

Prison has an exit date, and you can work towards getting out early.

At least here in the UK, the government are treating the public like something on the bottom of their boot, keeping us in the dark and offering no information on their plans or potential actions going further.

lockdown here is ending, gradually

Which for Americans i think is quite insidious. the democrats are invested in both:

Keeping lockdowns as long as possible, to cause riots and make the population hate current administration, which will make them vote dem later

making the virus look as bad as possible to cause as much economic damage as possible so they can get voted in later.

disgusting

ITT: NEETs laughing because they have been in self isolation for YEARS.

Prison has no exit date senpai

And pic related is a 10/10 in bongland

Fuck them.
those guys are depressed as shit and they don't realise it. they are in arrested development in perpetual adolescence, scared to finally grow.

They make fun of being a wagie (which i admit sucks, and isn't the end goal) but they don't realise the average wagie has way more freedom and opportunity than the average poor Neet.
Being a poor Neet which most on here are is a pathetic life much worse than wagesalvery.

Being a Rich neet is boss though

NEETs are gonna be starving to death when the bux stop coming. The wagies have guns and food supplies. You maybe have a knife and some beans.

Here is how revolts start
>I'm hungry
>I'm thirsty
>The state can no longer protect my life
That's it.

>Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, for us, some of us are immune to being housebound for long stretches of time.
>Not sure, but, my oppositional defiant disorder is itching and I want to go surfing in LA...

>when the bux stop coming.
That's never going to happen lol

The state doesn't protect your life anymore. All white lives are inconsequential to corporations and the state.

I can understand if you have no savings and your country has a weak social safety net, but you guys know you can just read books, workout, learn new skills or languages?

>The ONLY people i've seen who don't mind it are:
you can go ahead and add us stay at home chads to the list

I am an aimless loser and even I'm getting pissed off with it.

Why are Governments like this?

puke

I do all of those already, but I'm still hating this shit.
It's the lack of being able to make plans for the future, move life along, and do things.

I guess if i suddenly started doing that shit it would be ok, but for me, I already do those things so it's not adding anything to my life. Just a net loss.
I worked out 5 days a week before, so working out at home is just a worse version of a gym workout.
I studied languages for 1.5 hours a day already before this, and read interesting books here and there.

You lot are so dramatic talking about riots and shit you’ll be down the pub this time next year don’t worry about it

Yeah I guess that's true. I just upped what I was already doing. But, I'm an essential employee in the medical device industry so I still have to wage and even go on site once a week.
