The real problem is waiting too long before seriously trying to form a family. I think after the age of 35 it's game over for most women, unless you are willing to marry quite literally the first retard you find.

Best sexual market value for women is around 20 to 25 and that's when I would be trying to find a partner if I were a woman, money and a career actually hurt your chances of finding a man you like because of hypergamy/hypogamy of the sexes. Between the age of 25 and 35 you are probably getting middling potential partners, and they get worse as you age.

I had a baby at 39. Random bonus child. My other kids are almost grown. Was considered high risk because of my age. It can be done, but a woman starting that late shouldn’t expect to have a large family. Also should not expect to have an easy pregnancy. The kid is fine though. Completely healthy and shows signs of being more intelligent than the others.

It is the way it is. That's genetics, that's biology. 25 in not young, 30 in not young (because by the time we're 40 we are well and truly old no matter what Boomers say to distort the perception of time).

I know most barely just get it started around 29, like you said, but that's simply too late, and it's completely unsustainable in the long term (as these late age brackets for having children are only a recent thing, since a 4-5 decades ago, for the first time in our entire existence on this planet).

Biologically? Usually 35-40. Realistically though, anything after 30 is too late. IDEALLY you'd get over your phase of being a child by the time you're 20 or so, but that is probably unrealistic for moderns.

Complications and giving birth to a child with defects are different things.
