What is something, you don’t normally tell people, that your family is known for?
My great-something grandfather wrote blueprints for the first factories and invented the steam-trap for trains. Probably a big contributor to pollution
What is something, you don’t normally tell people, that your family is known for?
My dad works for nintendo. I used to tell people as a kid but no one believed me.
Fuck.
My family is really well known for being able to sniff out glownigger data mining threads on 4chins
My grandfather was a spic manlet and my grandmother was a coalburning whore
i am a descendant of the first king of england
that is amazing, user. I love Nintendo.
that far back how do you know?
also, I probably shouldn’t be posting this but my boyfriend right now is related to Martha Carrier. his family is the part that survived but was tortured during the Salem witch trials
-- here, i only know because my aunt (blood relative, not married in) on that side of the family paid someone to trace her lineage
on the other side of his family though, his relative fought and died on the axis powers of the cold front. his dad showed me a photograph of him when he first took me home. he didn’t look older than 18 in the photo.
glowniggers unironically
My family is (((cursed))). Specially my mother's side but my father was a dumb commie who got Stasi'ed while young.
My great grand-uncle is Martin Bormann, secretary to Adolf Hitler.
What is the curse? Or can’t you tell people?
my family was one of the largest slave owners and we have detailed records of purchased slaves, what their African names were, what we named them, who they were bred with, their kids names, etc. More importantly, the names of the owners of the slave ships. Guess who they were?
My grandfather from my father traced his lineage back to 1800 something
a frenchie from marseille met a girl from piamonte (italy) and they came to argentina
my closest european lineage came from spain, my grandmother's mother came in the 1900 wave with her family
That is still amazing, user. Very cool to have known that.
Wow. That could be helpful many Americans if you were able to release that in the future. That is amazing.
Sounds like love
My grandfather was a hells angel and murdered people. One that I’m aware of was an undercover cop.
Crazy thing was I just knew him as Pappy. When you are a little kid you don’t understand who someone is until you get older. When I was in high school it started to click more and I was shocked.
Sad part, I remember the day that he knew that I knew and the look on his face crushed him. I didn’t care he was still my grandpa, but I think he was living vicariously thru my innocence and when I realized who he was and what he had done, it seemed to be like his life was over.
He died of alcoholism 6 years ago
I have only told this to my alanon sponsor
And as for guessing, I would say French or Spaniards.
I’m so sorry, user, for your loss. He was your grandfather and that changes nothing. Thanks for sharing.
Very cool. The royalty of Europe are kind of all related, even Prussians and Romanians to English and Germans somehow, from what I can recollect
honestly i have no idea where to go to get my lineage traced
the only other thing i know is that one of my ancestors was brought over from england to the 13 colonies to fight in the revolution because he was a sharpshooter, dont know what side he fought for though
>in the future
i could see a point in the future that they were released, but it would have to be for the benefit of the country and not specific groups. We aren't racist people. If we gave them to academics they'd just be destroyed. My grandfather almost gave them to the Mormons in the 70's for their geneology project, but they more or less indicated the source of slaves would be omitted if publicized.
Grandma can tell me of the Ukrainians and Polish genocide but has zero recollection of jews being killed.
ehhh, no, I am just generally interested because I know I’m not the only one with interesting family history and I don’t have the heart to get into mutliple serous relationships with people solely for learning more about history
My grandfather was a regional leader of an area between two countries, don't know much about him other than he was apparently brutal, and that my dad says I remind him of his father sometimes. (Not in a good way)
i wasn't joking, but since this country is small and young, if i give any details i can be doxxed easily
I agree, user. My family on the other side were like this racist Mennonite group in Sweden that got exiled from Germany, and I’m not sure what else happened but I think they were exiled here in the 20th century or so. I have a mirror that survived a house fire.
Do you mind if I ask what she says? Or has told you,
I am the great great grandson of Dwight D. Eisenhower from my mother's side.
awww you’re from Israel. I didn’t know. be safe don’t share if you don’t want to and I love you user seriously
thanks greatest ally
Hmm. Maybe you’re a good leader, then. Cool history. Thanks for sharing.
That is so wonderful, you’re noble af, thanks for sharing
i'm from one of the families involved in the Hatfield/McCoy feud
yeah American girls/women are definitely your greatest ally just so you know
Won't tell you her story, but some of what she tells me makes me think typhus was actually used as a weapon for ethnic cleansing. It's really strange because whenever I look up articles about the typhus outbreak, they always stress that it wasn't. Makes me question it more.
Thank you for sharing everyone. This was for entertainment purposes only. I’m not a government agent nor do I want to be lmfao. I didn’t realize this could be dangerous, do not share if you are scared!
Everyone in America with my last name can be traced to a single German patriarch who came to the US in the 1690s.
that's pretty cool that you know you have some animal instinct left in your genes. my grandfather was a gangster too. went to jail and died "from drinking prison wine"
That is pretty interesting. Do you have any artifacts?
it’s fine I wouldn’t post it on here anyways. I understand though, I can see that. They already use eugenics drugs all over the world. There are still laws in the US where people can get sterilized without their consent. I encourage you to write about it outside of here, would be cool to read a conspiracy theory on Covid-19 and use that as evidence
that is so interesting and makes sense
This kind of shit makes me question it too. Did the US look into because they know the USSR had used it previously? If so, how come they never disclosed it? It really bothers me because nobody in my family died from war or famine or violence. Only typhus killed people in my family.
