Actually, I don't use weed at all. It's less about that, and more about nostalgia. Spending summers in the late 90s listening to Sublime(i assume that's the band we're talking about) and other alt/rock/metal, is a defining memory of my past. Pop is there too, hard to escape shit like Matchbox 20 or Spice girls. But it's not nostalgic. It's more like background noise.
And Avril should, in theory, be that for the guys who are just a little bit younger than me. Avril shouldn't be nostalgic to you unless you either have shit taste, or you played doctor to a girl with it on the radio.
