Any Chinese city is worse. That said, we've adopted Chinese regulations for our cities that coincidentally only permit the cheapest types of builds, so we'll be looking the same in a few decades if we don't roll the green building regs back.

No, Los Angeles is an amazing city with great weather, amazing nature, car packed, and stuffed with hot dumb chicks.

The only downside to LA are the liberals - which can be dealt with because the young ones that live here are diverging from the old boomercrats.

I went to casino close to downtown LA.
It was the most depressing place I have ever been to, there were drunks everywhere with such a sad look on their face, drunks stumbling out of the bathroom after throwing up.
Downtown was super dirty and the first person I saw walking around was a homelesa drunk stumbling around.
Awful city, the people who hype it up are idiots.

I’ve never been there, but I’ve sreetview toured it and to be honest, it looks kind of cool. They say it’s suburban and full of chain stores etc... maybe, but it’s a more dense suburbia, with a wider variety of Chain stores than most places.

There is a lot more remnants of old signage, googie architecture etc... cool stuff than you’d see in any city up in Canada..

Beyond that, I personally like the palm trees and sun bleached vibe. And living by the ocean is always nice (probably expensive though)

That said, I find a lot of the people seem vapid/trashy. That may just be my impression based on celebrities etc who come from there. Overall, I get the feeling it wouldn’t be a good place to raise well adjusted kids... but I’d probably live there without too much complaint (if I had money to be in a nice/safe area)

No. New York city is the most soulless city in the world. Los Angeles is not even really a unified city entity. It's really a mixture of different elements that have both existed in the city for many decades as well as recent developments. It's like if Yugoslavia was an entire city and was begging to be broken up into 6 or 7 different regions. Maybe one region or the other region is a soulless degenerate liberal shithole or another region is an enclave of gooks or another region is an enclave of spics or another region is an enclave of annoying shitheads from NEW YORK City or another region is an enclave of whites or whatever or middle Easterners etc.
But, at the end of the day, it is way too fractured to really say that it's a cohesive city of any kind. Because of that, you can't say anything definitive about the entity as a whole.

I lived in San Jose for a year and a half. I thought it was alright. Not anything great, but definitely better than Los Angeles.

San Francisco. It gives me the creeps. It seems to have death hovering over it. The homeless and wretched and crazy all wandering about. I find it almost unbelievable that anyone wants to live there anymore.

In the US, that's very illegal. You would have ACLU kikes all over a similar law in the United States of America and defeating it in the courts.
