I'm an ED nurse for a smaller community hospital and since this has started damn near no one has been coming in. We maybe get around 1/4 the normal amount of patients in the ED per day.

But the community keeps donating shit and calling us heroes. I feel like absolute garbage getting all this undeserved praise as honestly my workload has been next to nothing.

Has anybody else noticed that a huge, huge chunk of nurses are fat? Maybe it's just me living in Texas, which is a very fat state, but my dad is a doctor and so many of the nurses I encounter as a result of his job are fat. And not just the older nurses, either, I see plenty of twentysomething and thirtysomething girls who are absolute hogs.

I was in the hospital when I was in my teenage years on life support and there was one thot nurse who was only there to suck and fuck her way into a doctor's bank account and she turned my IV up which would have killed me had my mom not been there to ask another nurse if what she did was right. The other nurse, and the doctor who came in afterwards had confirmed that what she did would have had lethal consequences but I guarantee the thot kept her job, probably killed people doing it before and after. They're dangerous because they don't care about patients, they only care about being able to feel important when they take selfies for social media in nurse uniforms. If I knew who that nurse was today I would make sure she wasn't a nurse tomorrow.
