This is very bad. It will happen, but it lets whoever controls the currency freeze or devalue your money at will.

Germany is the exception. Previously the UK was 45% cash, this has dropped to about 5% in 6 weeks

cash will never completely disappear, thats like claiming road signs disappear because traffic lights exist now. it will always be there even if its just as a backup option just in case.
