I think Sweden's coronavirus strategy is the best strategy. Eventually the rest of the world will be dragged kicking and screaming to the Swedish way.
>inb4 the numbers could rise substantially as the graph itself says Nope that is not what this is about. Look at the graph prior to the pseudo downtrend. Sweden has flattened the curve with respect to deaths with no lockdown.
Also the Swedish capital Stockholm is weeks away from herd immunity
>herd immunity Read WHO statement about the immunity, pajeet
Aaron Bailey
>WHO statement Sorry man I don't trust a single thing the WHO says. In fact we have very little data about this virus as of now for anyone to be making any authoritative claims on the subject
Anthony Harris
>I don't trust a single thing the WHO says
Then google articles about reactivating. It starts to look herd immunitu for this works as well as it works for herpes.
I have seen claims of a 2% 'reinfection' rate in South Korea with no further explanation on - what % of that was carriers, what% if that was people with compromised immune systems etc. Like I said without any data, it is difficult to assess one way or another
I have seen another claim of a 5% reinfection rate in a specific population but once again Chinese data is useless
The one thing I can say for sure is that the entire planet cannot afford to spend another year hiding in their homes and 'flattening the curve' over and over again

Captain Sweden leads the way! You are more cucked then pic related so bow down you ultra faggots.
We are however testing anyone in a hospital with symptoms. So yeah, we're not testing anyone who doesn't' require hospital care, that's true at least.
Or we are mid-peak, and the reason it got so bad with lockdown for some countries was due to viral load and infected families locked inside that kept increasing their viral load.
Nicholas Harris
i never said to open up the country, I said to open up your ass!!!!!!
Yes, but what happens when these Top 10s start to come out of their homes?
Matthew Robinson
>We are however testing anyone in a hospital with symptoms.
Nice cope. Belgium counts everyone, including outside hospitals
Jackson Diaz
That depends entirely on the country. Denmark, Norway and Finland, which are the countries most similar to Sweden, never had curfews so the mobility in these countries has been similar to what we've seen in Sweden. Very few differences within the Nordic region right now. All events with more than 50 people are banned in Sweden until 31st of December so you won't be seeing large gatherings of people there anytime soon.
William Miller
reinfections can occur but at a lower rate as antibodies are produced herd immunity does not mean an end to new infections, but would mean the end of larger outbreaks
Cooper Brown
This is a comment I screencapped from the Breitbart comments section. Something to ponder over
Yeah I understand that Sweden too has some restrictions but they are less relative to the others
Just as an example, Denmark has much more severe restrictions compare to Sweden. Correct me if I am wrong but schools and colleges are shut in Denmark and there are severe restrictions on private sector. What happens when Denrmark begins to ease restrictions down to the Swedish level.
Christopher Nelson
>In fact we have very little data about this virus as of now for anyone to be making any authoritative claims on the subject Then why are you claiming that Stockholm is weeks away from herd immunity. Absurd conclusion to make from a report based on 100 random blood tests where 11 had antibodies.
Jayden Rodriguez
>Then why are you claiming that Stockholm is weeks away from herd immunity Fair enough. I should have worded it properly
>But now, the country’s chief epidemiologist said the strategy appears to be working and that “herd immunity” could be reached in the capital Stockholm in a matter of weeks.
Justin Peterson
High schools and universities have been closed in Sweden for weeks. Denmark reopened primary schools and kindergartens two weeks ago.
it's not binary, most people have changed their behavior here, those who can are working from home and so on. Also, a specific strategy might be good for one country but not work well for another, depending on things such as culture, trust in authorities and behavior of the citizens.
that graph is not correct, the epidemiologists have said that we've been on a plateau during this week, no reduction yet. and comparing to neighboring countries that were on the same trajectory in the beginning we have far more deaths per capita now. the response from those behind the strategy has explicitly been "let's compare the number of deaths in a year". that's how they think, so they sure are playing a high game.

Yes, Bravo Austria en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_coronavirus_pandemic_in_Austria >As of 16 March, nationwide, homes may only be left for one of the following reasons:[29] >necessary professional activities >necessary purchases (groceries or medication) >assisting other people >activities outside, alone or in the company of people living in the same household
This seems somewhat severe. So now, apparently Austria is easing its lockdown 'against WHO advice'. Now we wait
Ethan Williams
swedens lack of action will bite them in the ass when they discover immunity doesn't last more than a few months at best
Juan Taylor
Hmm. I wonder if the massive worldwide shutdown was to prevent the spread or the rush on hospitals. Rip it off and get on with your life or have this long drawn out process where the same amount of people die but you put healthy people thru hell.
Brandon Torres
I'm pretty sure Sweden is doing this as a sly move to kill their Somalians off with the complicity of the entire white population.
Josiah Martinez
>that graph is not correct, If you mean the pseudo downtrend, yeah I mentioned it in the OP, there is lag in reporting deaths so that part of the graph can be discarded. What I pointed out is that Sweden appears to be at the beginning of a plateau when it comes to deaths when you look at the part of the graph minus the pseudo downtrend
Tyler Wood
LETS GO SWEDEN WOOO! ADDING DEATHS TO THE PAST WEEKS OVER TIME SO IT LOOKS BETTER. HELL YEAH BROTHER!
Just so you can understand, they did worse than Greece. Greece followed the textbook recommendations against COVID-19, with a fraction of the investment per head Sweden has. They (the Greek) have traced the path you should follow pajeet. So you stupid poo in loo can shut the fuck up.
