Fort Bliss is there which which is where I went to AIT. I heard the drinking age on base was 18 to keep soldiers from going down to Juarez. Not sure if that's still true if it was ever true.

I was stationed there while I was in the Army. Tbf that picture is like 70% mexico, you can see the border wall. Everyone is brown or works for the government. Good food if you like mexican, not much else stands out other than normal ameriburger stuff. Lots of easy latina qts but if your a yellow feverfag or stormfag keep on moving, theres jack shit else. East side of town is newer, west side is where UTEP is and alright bars. Everywhere else is kinda shitty, mostly mexicans everywhere, but very low population of niggers and it's not too bad of a place desu. It is in the middle of the desert and hot as fuck in the summer. Cost of living is low for the population density. breddy gud if you want a mix of city but not too much. would never recommend it though there's just better places to live

I live there, its alright.
- Theres not much to do besides bars, food, and restaurant. Its a very laid back city. Some would say boring.
- Spanish is very useful but its not mandatory like some here would lead you to believe. Anything white collar that pays decent doesn't need spanish.
- A lot of the soldiers have a real chip on their shoulder. I dont really know what their problem is but they can be real drama queens. I've met plenty of cool soldiers too though.
Its just a borin, brown, hot city that has been growing. Its "ok". Pic related is one of my fav mexican dishes, menudo.

It also has USA military support.
Cheap living, of course, but stay around the fancy hoods.

When I was in AIT, they bus rode us one day on a week out to a rodeo. Was the only rodeo I ever seen in real life.
One weekend we were off and we went to s strip club there one called foxies I think that the other one I forgot the name. Not sure if they're still open or you ever heard of them.
Went to a mall also but don't know the name. I loved looking at the girls there. I guess because I'm Hispanic and people usually fall for their own race.

Great high desert climate - NO water or humidity and clear but thin air (4000+ ele) so if that is your thing, downside is the total lack of anything green. I bought a house for pennies and through cheap labor and mexican materials built an oasis of green and water, EASY 300k home anywhere else, pennies there. Lastly you have to like being "there" its 4hrs to tucson, and a days travel east to anything. you are truly land locked from ANYWHERE. But super redpill attitude, despite mexifags irrational hate of trump and Beto bitch love - they love guns, property, freedom. Cop once told me to blow away a kid who was climbing my fence to tag my house. Also, best mex food ever, Cali mex food is crap and I cant eat mexican food up north anymore.

Correction though, that is NOT Juarez, that picture was from the Bridge of The Americas looking north, you see The Can-am and Alemeda ave in that shot at the bottom, through down town, and the walls on the upper left of the mtn are Scenic Drive and the lookout. MOST of the city is on the other side of the mtn or off screen to the right.

Haven't spent any time there aside from driving through whens't visiting family. The drivers are nuts, imagine a guy in a 97 Tacoma with expired temp tags veering across three lanes at 22 over the speed limit, I've described 50% of the people you'll meet on an El Paso highway.
The Franklin mountains are amazing. You can climb up to the site of a 1950's military plane crash. Largest military plane at the time, captain bailed on a landing at ELP and flew north to land at Alamogordo... except he didn't have the mountains marked on his map. Whoops.
