The buyers of futures contracts will want to take delivery of the physical gold amd the sellers who are mostly speculators will be forced to find the physical gold and deliver it. Only problem is mines are shut down some mints are shut down and physical gold is selling fast. Bank of america gave gold a 3k price target. As a leaf gold is a no lose because our dollar will crash harder one reality sets in that pur economy wont return to normal.
