Traditional Catholic

Seventh Day Adventist church or Baptist Church.
Never Catholic.

Mennonite, Amish, and other Anabaptists
Catholic. It's the catholic tradition that even kept the bible and compiled it in the first place.
Southern Baptist

Oh, I don't know, which denomination was started by Jesus him-fucking-self?
Catholicism, dumbass.
orthodox
Did Jesus also start with foul language and unwarranted insults too?
There is no true denomination of Christ, for Christ is not rent in twain. The true following of Jesus Christ comes from observing and follow His teachings and commandments. Anyone who wishes for division in the body is not one with the body.
Denominations are works of man.
Dont go to church
As far as I know no passage directly tells you to go to church, and you're absolutely not supposed to go to a church where they pervert the word of God so you're better off praying and studying the bible by yourself or with family/friends
Orthodox Catholicism. Everything else is heresy.
Cults not allowed
You'll see if you are ever running from the law for practicing iconoclastic spiritual rituals with your fucked up homies.
ORTHODOX CHRISTIANITY
And nothing is currently more based. Sorry Catholics, but your pope is a faggot commie. And your clergymen can't stop raping little boys.
I was an evangelical until becoming an atheist. After I had kids, I recently was reading a book about the Byzantine Empire. There was suddenly this whole world of Christianity I had no idea existed.
It turned out, there is an ORIGINAL CHURCH FOUNDED BY THE APOSTLES with apostolic succession where they have been doing the same things for 2000 years.
There aren't 10000 denominations of Orthodoxy. Just one church, that has been. With a deep rich history.
The true church is the Orthodox Church. The catholics in sin broke communion with the Catholic church, and that sin bore us the reformation and that bore us so many other denominations.
Today in America, it's basically just people running around claiming the bible says whatever they think it says. Ever Pastor is a king of his church and his interpretation rules.
Look at Pastor Steve Anderson. What a quack. He thinks he's the one that figured it all out. And he understands the bible.
But the truth is, the original church still exists, and still practices the same way as they did in the 1st century.
PS: I bet you never heard of the 70.
orthodoxwiki.org
That was a wake-up call. They're all in the bible. But I never had heard past the 12 being an evangelical.
There is a deep rich Christian heritage we are missing out on.
I regret denouncing christ. And I think I am converting to Orthodoxy.
I'm not going to call people a christcuck or any of that stupid beta shit. I have kids. The world is fucked up. And the orthodox are calling faggots faggots and speaking truth.
yes I'm an oldfag for using breaks
Snake handlers
Why do you ask anti-semitic questions?
50's and 100's. USD of course.
Amish.
Every branch of christianity is biblical christianity.. Everything in the bible is worded so ambiguously that it can literally mean anything you want it to.
Jew detected.
This is basically what Christians in America have given us. And when you understand how America got all it's denominations, all the rebellion and cults. It all starts to make sense.
My two families came here in 1624 and 1682. I believe in blood and soil. But the reality is, our country is founded on so much rebellion. The state of things was really the only outcome.
Christianity in this country is fucked up, cucked and just weak and pathetic.
Another thing to learn about is supersuccessism. The churches, always believed that Christians replaced Jews. Jews killed Christ. And Jews are the synagogue of Satan. But after WWII with Vatican II and many american churches all adopted out of the blue this notion of Christians + Jews as God's chosen people. And this is also when the start of all the Juedo-Christian values bullshit started. No one believed that before WWII. Who did that? You know (((WHO)))
Explain the 60,000 denominations then (but YOURS is THE correct one, everyone else is wrong, right?)
Not pic. The word 'baptism' comes from the Greek verb "to immerse". Baptism must be performed by triple immersion in water in the name of the holy trinity. Chalcedonian Orthodoxy is the most faithful branch of Christianity to the Church established at Pentacost.
Don't even bother considering protestantism or modern cults like the JWs. That's all caved in brain level Christianity.
After studying many religions and theosophies, likely Gnosticism.
Christianity introduces a twist that Christ was sacrificed for our sins (the price for sin is death) which should be your ONLY takeaway from from it.
The rest of the modern teachings of Christianity appear to be completely made up, they're inconsistent with prisca theologia principle and clearly politically motivated.
I did. Church history explains exactly how this happened: They are all wrong because they ran off on their own to do their own thing. But the original church, and it's original teachings and interpretations, persist.
Only Orthodox Catholicism is Christianity. Everything else is heresy. Heresy has been a big problem right from the start because retards keep thinking they can alter the bible to fit their whims.
>Random cultists thinking that they are Christian.

yes it sure was sinful of everybody living in the western empire to not suddenly become orthodox
So which one are you advocating? Orthodox or Catholicism?
Read your bible. Once you are done and have questions research answers that different denominations have. You will be able to choose a denomination to align with then.
Denominations are mainly divisive and do more harm than good as people tend to stick with a certain one out of pride the same way they would support a sports team, instead of trying to learn more about the truth.
Personally I agree a lot with Dispensational Baptism.

the Orthodox liturgy in my prayer book was written by St. John Chrysostom
seems pretty on point

Many, I know, respect the Jews and think that their present way of life is a venerable one. This is why I hasten to uproot and tear out this deadly opinion. I said that the synagogue is no better than a theater and I bring forward a prophet as my witness. Surely the Jews are not more deserving of belief than their prophets. "You had a harlot's brow; you became shameless before all". Where a harlot has set herself up, that place is a brothel. But the synagogue is not only a brothel and a theater; it also is a den of robbers and a lodging for wild beasts. Jeremiah said: "Your house has become for me the den of a hyena". He does not simply say "of wild beast", but "of a filthy wild beast", and again: "I have abandoned my house, I have cast off my inheritance". But when God forsakes a people, what hope of salvation is left? When God forsakes a place, that place becomes the dwelling of demons.
(2) But at any rate the Jews say that they, too, adore God. God forbid that I say that. No Jew adores God! Who say so? The Son of God say so. For he said: "If you were to know my Father, you would also know me. But you neither know me nor do you know my Father". Could I produce a witness more trustworthy than the Son of God?
(3) If, then, the Jews fail to know the Father, if they crucified the Son, if they thrust off the help of the Spirit, who should not make bold to declare plainly that the synagogue is a dwelling of demons? God is not worshipped there. Heaven forbid! From now on it remains a place of idolatry. But still some people pay it honor as a holy place.
The one where Moloch takes a back seat lol
Orthodox Catholicism is the name of Christianity. Roman Catholicism is the bullshit heresy created in Rome because they couldn't handle the pentarchy.
>Thinks the Roman Catholic church has the rights to use the word Catholic.
>en.wikipedia.org
No it wasn't. The two were in communion for nearly a 1000 years, but they grew divided. The papal claim of supremacy, being the intercessor to God, and other things lead to the split. The history is very interesting. Rome clearly became more and more entangled in Politics. I wouldn't say everyone is in sin. That's not the Orthodox position. But that there as a sin, that has resulted in many divisions. Selling indulgences and other abuses lead to the reformation. There are Orthodox bishops in hell. But Orthodoxy isn't claiming papal infallibility.

No the Catholic Church adopted a lot of pagan traditions. I'm not sure which is the closest, but it definitely isn't the Catholic. Maybe we need a restoration?

Catholicism is just paganism.
Catholicism teaches that the Pope is the earthly head of the church.
But the Bible teaches:
1. Jesus is the Head, foundation, and chief shepherd of the church (Eph. 1:22,23; Col. 1:18; Matt. 28:18; I Cor. 3:11; Acts 4:10,11; I Pet. 2:3-8; John 10:11,14; I Pet. 5:4; Heb. 13:20). For the church to have two heads (Jesus and the Pope) would be spiritual adultery, like a woman having two husbands (cf. Eph. 5:22-24 to Rom. 7:2,3).
2. Peter had no greater authority than the other apostles (2 Cor. 11:5; 12:11,12). All had power to bind and loose by preaching the gospel guided by the Holy Spirit (cf. Matt. 16:19 to 18:18; John 20:22f; and Mark 16:15,16; John 16:13; Gal. 1:11,12). Peter had the "keys" to be the first one to preach this gospel and open the door to both Jews and Gentiles to enter the church (Acts 2 and Acts 10), but others preached as much and as effectively as he did (I Cor. 15:10).
3. Peter did not fit the pattern of modern Popes. He was married (Matt. 8:14; I Cor. 9:5). He refused to allow men to bow to honor him religiously (Acts 10:25,26). He wore no exalted title such as "Father" (Matt. 23:9).

Non denominational prob
Churches of Christ claim they were around in the first century and the Orthodox/Catholics apostated. They are a more conservative church than Southern Baptists.
