So this whole thing kicked off because trump said about injecting a disinfectant (which was probably referring to that UV light treatment) which media (both social and traditional) spun as drinking bleach or some shit. Trump then backtracked and claimed his comments (is it these comments?) were sarcastic.
But why? Why would he back down? Am I correct in assuming that he is referring to a different set of comments as sarcastic and the media is again spinning it? Or is he saying the comments on injection were sarcastic, which makes no sense? As I said before, I'm not smart, so please help me understand this.
He wasn't being sarcastic at all obviously he just wasn't very eloquent in describing what they told him about cure options. Fuck the media they need to cleansed with fire.

Thank you for the link to the transcript. My theory (and many others) was that the heat and humidity have a huge impact on this virus. I think that there even is a chance that it will pull the vanishing act of the 2003 SARS. I really hope it will, and that would mean no second wave, and apart for small outbreaks the virus will be eradicated by the sun. Now the irradiation therapy for the blood, should work then also. It's a forgotten technique but now we could use ECMO like machines(to minimize the damage to the blood cells) and actually try that. That's exciting news. I just wish they develop something like that for herpes simplex and HIV and other viruses that hide in our CNS. They also don't like the sun.

Another thing I just thought about. I was in hospital in Poland and their hospitals are pretty warm and humid. I thought it's retarded because bacteria thrive in such environments but now, during the corona, add UV lamps to every room and with the regular humidity and heat the people in Poland, that are in the hospitals should be dying at a lower rate. I write about Poland because that's the only European hospital I've been to, I wonder what are the conditions in other hospitals in Europe?
