Why do americans wear shoes indoors?

So why do americans wear shoes indoors?

Don't give me bullshit about clean streets, I've been to Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium, which are all much nicer than LA or NY. Yet everyone takes their shoes off when entering living space.

I've never seen someone wear shoes in their own house.

Never mind that, is this real?

We don’t, user.

Where you from? I've been only to LA and NY in US. No matter if I visited someone in their apartment of it was normal suburbs house, they were wearing shoes inside.

So explain my experience with White Americans in NY and LA?

Also movies? Everyone is wearing shoes indoors in your movies.

Massachusetts. Maybe if they were only staying for a short period of time they'd keep them on so they didn't have to put their shoes back on?

The fuck? So you don't mind walking in your shoes inside if it's for the short period? Here in Russia and in Europe people take off shoes, even if they briefly step inside the house, for example to pick the phone they forgot on their way out.

Must be a nigger thing. If you track snow in the house you're getting a beating.

I'm Canadian, but and I wear shoes inside my house, but they are shoes mostly to be worn indoors, and then I have another set of shoes to be worn when I leave the house.

Because I’m not poor and don’t have carpet so my floors can easily be cleaned?

That seems silly, it would take more time to take the shoes off and back on than it would to get the phone itself.

Wtf???

What snow in LA? Also I've visited white people places, people that work in big companies like Microsoft/Google/etc and earn 200k+ a year, since I also work in one of those companies, but here in Russia and traveled for work to US. I got weird looks first few times when I insticatively tried to take off my shoes after stepping inside. When I asked why they wear the shoes, they said it's normal since streets are clean. And asked me why I take mine off.

Not talking about niggers here.

My girlfriend wears shoes on me

Yeah, but walking barefoot inside after you brought particles of dust, shit, and other stuff on the soles of your shoes is fine?

I think average person in Luxembourg or Switzerland is way more wealthy than you.

I also have hardwood floors here in Russia, no carpets in my apartment. Same with the places I visited.

I dont
shoes come off at the door

>Yeah, but walking barefoot inside after you brought particles of dust, shit, and other stuff on the soles of your shoes is fine?
Well, usually you wash your shoes in the outdoor sink before going back inside.

You seem to be taking this too seriously.

Why is it OK for people to wear shoes when they go to their jobs, or to stores, but it's not ok for people to wear shoes in their homes???

It's just a floor

>I think average person in Luxembourg or Switzerland is way more wealthy than you.

That’s where you’re wrong Ivan, you’re thinking to hard.

Even if they were richer than me, they have far less purchasing power. They aren’t richer though cause they don’t have that Texas Oil money flowing through their veins.

>Why do americans wear shoes indoors?
The only person I know that wears shoes indoors is my grandfather, who has a pair of inside shoes. I don't know anyone who wears their shoes all over their house.

So that when the police kick their door in they are ready to escape while their dogs get shot and can avoid being shot themselves.

Explain the movies and TV shows when no one takes off their shoes? Also in some movies they make it a plot point, to point out how weird it is to take off your shoes indoors.

Like that scene at the start of deuce bigalow: male gigolo shitty movie from 1999.

We don't. If you're gonna go after a meme at least make it a funny/real one.

We don't

I mean, do you have couple Ferraris in your garage? No, then you are not as wealthy as them, purchasing power or not.

I make 110k USD a year here in Moscow working for big US corporation office, which is only 1/2 of what my colleagues in US make at very least.

Work places get cleaned daily every evening, you probably clean your house once a week if not less. Also work places have industrial ventilation system that filters and recycles air, and you only spend there 8 hours of your life a day.

At home? You cook, you sleep, you walk around, breathing all that shit that you brought in on the soles of your shoes.

american also eat their children penises when they are born. it's stupid to ask why americans do something, they are the most irrational and stupid people on the planet.

we own carpet cleaners and we have way less mud than poland

Sometimes, I do have to quickly walk into my house with my outdoor shoes on, to get my keys, or whatever.

It does not seem like it's a big deal, because I don't notice dirt on the floors when I do it. If my shoes were very muddy or dirty, then I would take off my shoes.

Even with cleaning the floors once a week, the floors do not look that dirty.

I love that picture

Not only amerimutts. For what I know and live, my country does the same.

Only manlets do lol

No shoes allowed passed the mudroom in my house user.
Shoes in the house is for shitbag trailer trash whites, mudmanoids and niggers.

Also, I think it depends if the area in the home is carpeted, wood or tiles.

When the the water pump guy needs to inspect equipment, we send him throught the garage and into the basement which has tile flooring, and he can keep his shoes on.

If he makes a mess, there is an invention called a mop, and soap and water. We'll just clean it. It's not the end of the world.

Wtf is that?!

What?? I dont know anyone who wears shoes inside

>why do americans wear shoes indoors?
Its an old custom, from the Indian raids - had to be ready to respond to a surprise attack at a moments notice.
