No, Amazon should pay the same rate as anyone using the post. If it were a private company they should be able to offer better rates to bigger customers, but it's government owned and funded by the taxpayer so why should Amazon get a free ride? They can set up their own logistics network or use one of the private courier services if they're unhappy.

My tax dollars are not there to subsidize one of the largest and most profitable companies in the fucking world. The US postal service is literally losing money on every package shipped because they aren't charging enough, propping up companies like Amazon.
If it's my choice, I pick what I want for the price I'm willing to pay. If it's the governments choice, they pick how much of my money they want and waste it on bullshit. I'll take my choice, thanks.
