Toxic mold responsible for haunted houses hallucinations

northcountrypublicradio.org/news/story/28060/20150416/is-toxic-mold-the-real-hidden-culprit-in-haunted-houses

If mushrooms can cause people to have psychedelic experiences, why can't mold spores cause you to start tripping balls in a 100 year old house?

I more recent article.

And this is politics because

most ghosts are racist and if they don't exist than how will the niggers know their place in the world

hurr durr it's too spooky

ghosts are real though
you just can see them better when psychedelics lift the veil a bit for you

Ram Dass? is that you?

Wasn't this the theory for the Salem witch trials? Wheat fungus getting folks fucked up?

we literally have an entire board for this shit

rye fungus, but whatever

Go back to plebbit

No it's (((they ))) who want to supress the knowledge of ghosts and the afterlife

Yeah, specifically the precursor to LSD. Of course with the persecution of witchcraft you've also got the element of Jewish mysticism and ritual sacrifice, which is what the public was really attempting to suppress. They were just so stupid they couldn't correctly identify the problem.

Prove it.

that doesnt explain seeing objects fly across the room and the object literally being in a new location.

Because only an infinitesimally small amount of fungi have psychedelic compounds in them, you're a brainlet OP

All speculation

Look up ergot

you sound ignoramt. i've NEVER had a hallucination on shrooms. your pupils dialate and shit looks funky sometimes, but never a full blown hallucination. got to be some kind of retard to think that. theres a very haunted location in my city. tons of deaths and misery have occurred over the years. people hear amd see shit flying around when ever they break in. even the homeless know not to stay there, its a big building, because weird shit goes down. spirits are real and everything cant be rationalized with the limite knowledge we have of the world.

>electromagnetic radiation waved into your consciousness by entities on higher frequencies than you, spurring psychosomatic phenomenon in your mental viewing lens

the elements of toxic mold are as conducive as the thing itself re: causing hallucinatory affect on your mind

I had to do a whole training on this topic for work. The whole toxic mold thing is blown way out of proportion. The whole myth started way back in ww2 I believe, when horses in Russia where forced to eat hay covered in black mold. They died from eating the mold so people speed out and a large fear grew around it. People finally realized how overblown it was when workers ran out of respirators to use during the rebuilding efforts of Hurricane katrina. They literally renovated houses caked in black mold with literally no negative health effects. Moral of the story is, mold is only dangerous if you're litreally eating the shit.

What if the fungal colony is the physical manifestation of the occupying spirit?

Its theorized that witchcraft was the surviving aspects of paganism in the culture, and the witch trials were an act of the Jewish sect to crush it.

This.

Thats trippy dude. Thats like some 40k shit. I have something really fucking cool to think/talk about.

Thanks op.

As somebody with a clue about biostatistics and toxicology I can pretty certainly say that’s unlikely. Reaching concentration levels of fungi spores or toxins in the air sufficient enough to induce a psychotic state is rather impossible. Even if you assume very high levels you would have other symptoms before, which are hard to ignore. The average human entering the house would almost instantly get an allergic reaction. What fungi can give into the air is limited. Basically nonsense unless you prepare food on places contaminated with fungi or sweat combined with massive skin contact for a long time to the contaminated object. Maybe a mattress etc. but even than it’s not common at all.
