You could reverse star wars. Just make a new film where there's a very quick montage of the disney star wars films at the very start after the title crawl and have the main character wake up panicked and indicate it was just a dream, then continue on with the movie. Normally I'd be against that sort of thing but they fucked it up so bad there's not much else you can do and I'm sure most fans will just accept it at face-value so they can disregard disney's abominations from the universe and continue as if it never happened.
