Yes they do. When I was in college we do experiments in my psychology class. We got a 1) pretty girl in her 20's; 2) heavy set girl in her 20's; 3) woman in her 40's; 4) older woman in her 70's. They all had to act confused in the small town square and ask directions to a house a mile away from the town square. People were lining up to help the attractive 20 something find her way. Followed by the 20 heavy set woman and 70 year old. The 40 year old woman was barely helped.
There have been studies done about who gets saved the most by good samaritans. Women of reproductive age and children are the group's men will most likely risk their lives to save. That's just some decent scientific evidence. That doesn't mention any of the anecdotal evidence of pretty women getting out of everything.
