3 times more people in hospitals could have been handled in NY. Now NY just sees a long, drawn out, flattened curve scenario... instead of a quick herd immunity one.
Sweden is the only country which got it right worldwide. Herd immunity can be achieved and it is a solution.
>still on the rise for new cases 2 months in >200 deaths per million which is 50 more than US >80% of closed cases end in death Yeaaaa Sweden is doing just fine
How does it work regarding different strains? Can they get it again or na
Matthew Morris
This seems really fishy. I think the tests are just flawed.
Joseph Baker
Dude, the more deaths you have, the closer you are to herd immunity. Sweden probably is at 30-40% antibodies in key cities already. Just 2 weeks longer and the virus dies of herd immunity naturally.
Caleb Rogers
Corona is really a test to detect people that get fucked by animals. Telegony does not just apply to previous human sexual partners.
Most of us if not half of the population already got corona and did not even know about it. 2 weeks ago i had a little sore throat and very slight fever for 1 day and was fine. Later got one rush on my foot fingers which now is black. Thats how flu's work dumbasses.
Alexander Clark
>This seems really fishy. I think the tests are just flawed.
This is like the 7th or 8th antibody study from different countries which confirms the same thing - depending on how highly affected an area is between 5% (California, netherlands, Iceland) to 15%-20% (NY, German areas) to 50% and more (NOrthern Italy) have developed antibodies.
At some point it ain't fishy any more, but the correct outcome of multiple studies.
Grayson Brown
This virus doesn’t “die”, it’s a bioweapon designed to end us all. Nothing is going to stop it.
Henry Butler
>herd immunity Imagine wanting to become a literal sheep
Juan Sullivan
Sheep? Dude, you can't stop the virus. It's just the way it is. France tested a school, 41% of teachers and students had the virus based on antibody tests. Only 1% had been tested positive before.
You really think our idiotic efforts to get rid of the virus through lockdowns and social distancing have worked?
Thomas Richardson
Now now, no need to get buttblasted. You can be a unique sheep in the herd all you want.
>if everybody got it and died, eventually the virus dies Stockholm has 1 million people (more in the metro area) and has 1,000+ deaths from corona. If they are 50% infected/recovered already then the mortality rate overall for Stockholm will be 0.1% to 0.2%.
Dismiss it or not, but that is just like a bad flu season. Also, 90% of people who die of corona in Stockholm are 60+ people or people with severe prior health conditions (cancer patients, multiple heart attacks in ICU beds).
It's a moot point whether "it's just a flu bro" or if it's a "happening" since there is nothing to do about it. It's a matter of time before everyone has had it.
Do they really? Because I think after so many studies that come out from so many places which all say the same thing... I kind of think they are accurate.
And yes, I also believe Roche and Abbot Labs etc. that they can manufacture a close to 100% accurate test. And not in '2 weeks', but they already delivered 2 million tests in the US and another 2 million by mid-next week.
>Its working here in Australia. We are nearing no new cases.
While you praise yourself now, in a few months you may be fucked because you need to keep your borders shut for years, while Sweden can just return to normal by the summer - with open borders, without social distancing.
I mean, it's so odd people shill against natural herd immunity, but advocate herd immunity from vaccination which may not come along until 2022.
Alexander Gray
I didn't watch for like 10 years then got a ticket a year and a half ago. Those New Day guys are hilarious. Ultimate bro-level niggas.
Why are so many countries so different? NYC and North Italy are turbofucked, Germany seems basically fine. And it isn't medical care or distancing procedures, it seems like completely different rates
Bentley Powell
>Sweden is the only country which got it right worldwide. They are worse than the USA on deaths per capita considering that sweden is one of the least population dense places in europe thats a feat in itself.
