>Thoughts on the current state of music? I unironically feel bad for normies. I've even got some friends who listen to underground stuff, they listen to a lot of shitty music too.

Kike propaganda and programming. Music has been trash for at least 20 years.
Christopher Sullivan
Wew, good thing I stopped caring about pop shit when I was 13, which means I've had 3 decades of not giving a dime to support any of it.

Tay Tay deserves everything good happening to her.
>Thoughts on the current state of music? Very nearly completely dead.
Music is made of melody, rhythm, and harmony. I suppose you could say timbre is the 4th element, the tone of the various instruments and sounds. >Melody Most new songs have 'melodies' that could be played on a keyboard with one finger, the vocal lines, the bass lines, the synth - There's a near total lack of melodic themes. Compare old pop like Abba or Michael Jackson to current pop. There hasn't been a memorable guitar solo in popular music for more than ten years, even fifteen. >Rhythm Grug tier electronic beats or absolutely plain standard hired musician drum beats with no flair or originality of any kind. >Harmony Completely optional. Vocals can be atonal rap, mumbled spoken word, breathing sounds... There is so little going on in terms of how the bass, keyboard, and vocals go together. There is nothing particularly interesting or unpredictable in how the sections of songs change into the next section. >Timbre Synthetic, compressed, digitally flattened out. A bands personal choice of instruments and gear used to be like a fingerprint that altered every note. In that best selling album list every single sound is interchangable.
There is a very low general standard. Beyonce is the only one in the best selling list to posess any high level of technique. It used to be that skilled vocalists were common in popular music, Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston etc. Many bands had skilled lead singers - Axel Rose had a 5 octave range, Bruce Dickinson had a powerful bel canto style. The average was much much higher. After Beyonce then Adele would be number 2 for actual skill, and she is absolutely mediocre.

I'm just glad the youth of my country won't be going to their usual nigger and kike music festivals this year. Thanks Coronachan!
Taylor Swift is the only good artist here. Only one with signature song writing and variety of instruments played. Every album sounds completely different from the other but you can tell its a TS song from the lyrics
