Can you prove that lung damage in the asymptomatic cases was caused by the virus and was not preexisting? There are a lot of old folks in this study, and the only conclusion they draw is that people with symptoms show more signs of lung damage than asymptomatic people.
If the theory about heme/iron proves to be true, that would also explain the collapsing, via hypoxia.

Yea I would think so, if someone's oxygen level started running low rapidly then I would get them tested immediately.
All they have to do is give one to every at risk group in the U.S and have them check themselves twice a day.
