They went crazy and OD'd on "muh patriotism". It was really fucking annoying. Every truck for a few years had American flags hanging from it. American flags were everywhere. France did something to piss us off at some point and so people renamed "french fries" to "freedom fries". It was actually a pretty big deal.

Lots of war was waged on that wave of patriotism. The Iraq War took us in the opposite direction in the second half of the 2010s. Whereas the first half was hyper patriotic, the second half became self-hating. "America is bad". "America is evil".

The seeds of that self-hatred, IMO, played a big role in manifesting Barack Obama and his administration, and the ever present white self-hatred that you find in this country today. So it's funny how the one thing that made people SO patriotic ended up setting in motion the course of events that made this country so UNpatriotic.

Also Halloween used to be a much bigger deal before 9/11, I remember. More trick or treaters. The whole community used to partake in that. The streets were flooded with kids all night. And many more people had decorations. After 9/11 one of the big things I noticed was the interest in Halloween died way down (other than as a drinking holiday)

Lots of other stuff too but IDK it's too big of a topic and discussion to really convey in 2000 characters

They allowed kikes to manipulate them into a war for Israel

deep down i was happy looking back
now i realise why they deserved it, the usa army systemiclaly are tough(fake toughness), but i came to realise they are just using mayan patents cross stitched by their new geographical location and that they are merely jewish puppets

Most people weren't too happy about it.

Arn't there screenshots on a proto Yas Forums forum where people are laughing?

Scared shitless, and the big game of Telephone started where you were hearing things like “Chicago just got bombed”. That was the initial reaction. And then that poster above summed up the next couple years pretty nicely

had a huge grin on my face
literally the best day of my life

Did you (((dance)))?

You people are scum. My grandfather died in 9/11.

Had a couple of Israeli friends who were delighted by the whole thing

Literally Newgrounds lol just find anything on the site from around that timeframe and you can get a fairly accurate representation of how young people reacted to the event.

I enjoyed it.

the French were one of the very few that spoke up and said that going to war for Israel was a retarded idea. that's when America chimped out and began calling French fries "freedom fries"

this user right though. patriotism went into overdrive. the world wasn't nearly as awakened to false flag events at the time, so nobody was talking about how suspicious everything was. most believed the official narrative and you were anti american if you didn't. also, mudslimes were beaten and bullied for years afterwards. if you're familiar with how chinese are being treated now, it was a similar situation with the arabs then - a lot of assaults and shit.

I was in an econ class in college around 10am on that tuesday morning when our teacher mentioned it and I was like, wtf happened? Went to my mgt class afterwards and they had it on the TV. Went to my dad's house after that class and we went to the golf course and played 18 drinking beers. Pretty good day.

Inside job

Fuck off, we’re full.

I hated America that day because I had the perfect afternoon / evening routine.
First some generic anime on RTL2, afterwards 2 episodes Dragonball Z, then 4 episodes King of Queens, then some Shin-chan I think and also some obsucre german animation nobody knows with a hippie, a nazi and a normalfag.
Anyway, none of these shows aired that day and it made me platinum mad.

Checked, and I think you vastly overestimate the impact OIF / 9/11 had on American self-hate. That's been drilled into us for more than a generation, long before 9/11. The left saw it as their chance, sure, but the seeds of the "white men evil" idea were planted in classrooms in the 90s. You're right that they turned up the intensity like crazy in the latter half of the 2000s, though.

no but my colleagues did while on a field trip there

They started watching reality TV, then lost touch with reality.

A group of kikes danced

We refused to join this shitty war and got served back, the American propaganda machine activated and we're now forever the surrender monkeys. Just because we refused to fight this kike war

We the knowledge we have now. We all can agree it should have been nukes

I was in high school and thought it was a joke so I laughed. Still feel bad.

well, at least one burger knew that you guys were in the right. sucks what happened to your country in the 19.5 years since, with the relentless waves of immigration of turbo niggers and whatnot. keep your head up, French bro

(((((They))))) baited us to fight (((((their)))))war.......

watch the howard stern show that was taking place on 9/11 for the best cultural time capsule if you can still find it.

If it makes you feel any better anybody with even an ounce of history knows that France was always a military powerhouse capable of competing with the strongest Nations for at least 1,500 years.

I can remember people bolting flag poles into the beds of their trucks and driving around with their US flags flapping in the breeze, but no one was calling French fries freedom fries, everyone made fun of the news outlets for that very obvious horseshit.

share a link if you stumble across one

I was like 8 years old. It fucked me up good at the time. It made me realize the World is fucked. FUCKED beyond repair.

America was shocked, then we got angry. Like the whole country United as strong as during the world wars. Then it fell apart when Bush started going to war in Iraq.

Like a welfare queen running from the repo man

I wish to support local debt collectors and repo men

Why WOULDN'T you want to destroy the (((World Trade))) Center?

this is correct though. if anyone in the public called them "freedom fries", it was only unironically, and it only happened once or twice before it was memoryholed after everyone made fun of the (((MSM))) for trying to instigate that dumbass shit

Same way they reacted to muh corona, unquestioningly.

I hope you understand that this wasn't against you guys, we would have been here if you were actually threatened, as we used to.

My favorite part about 9/11 was when everyone agreed it was cool to invade Iraq, even though they had nothing to do with it.

Are you 12?

there is about 89768566086x's the amount of questioning and suspicion and pushback going on during this pandemic than there was of the 9/11 "official narrative"

My paranoid boomer mom thought it was the beginning of WW3
I think the main shock is before it people had forgotten terrorism was even a real thing.
