In 1939 there were 85 million Germans in Europe vs 95 million Russians in USSR. Not a big difference. Ukrainians and Balts were willing to fight for Germany. Regardless of that whole Ukraine was occupied by Axis by the September of 1941. All the rest soviet population were likes of Georgians and Uzbeks who were worse at war than even Romanians.

Why did Germans failed to defeat Russians given above?

2 front war, eastern front was like 3000km long, winter, hitlers bad strats, ussr's sheer amount of equipment and troops.

coldest winter

95 vs 85 not a big difference

and why did Germany sucked at mass production? I was told they are the master race.

Germans did not know before starting the war that there are cold in Russia in winter? Does master race mean retarded race?

stop worshiping the nazis.
they wanted to kill everyone.

well they lost, were in ruins and still are better than rusia today, meanwhile rusia had a 50 year reign and everyone knows how good that was

Imagine thinking russians not suffer from cold

thank you rabbi, very informative

It was because of low ammunition, extreme low temperatures, mud and low supply of food

but you are gypsy shithole regardless

heavy floods delayed operation barbarossa until winter

>In 1939 there were 85 million Germans in Europe vs 95 million Russians in USSR.
Pretty sure USSRs population was like 200 million or something

you play football shirtless in minus 10

lol in fact I bet if your grandparents had lost the defense, rasha would have been better off in the years later than it was

Yeah because Warsaw Amsterdam and French countryside as well as Greece weren't levelled by them

Shitty logistics, too much confidence (thought taking Moscow was enough), WW1 mode of thinking in most areas.
This war was unwinnable.

Also germans had industrial power of all europe, exept britain, while soviets have only lend lease from britain and partially USA. Also uzbecs and georgians not even fighted in this war, soviets stopped sending them in army in 1942, because they were useless

The Soviet Population in 1939 was 168.5 million.

They also were fighting the British Empire, with a population of 220 million.

And then the US with it's 147 million.

German plans were to invade in early spring and finish in late summer. However the massive American lend lease program increased Russian logistical capability to an unforseen amount Wich slowed them down. Adding to the delays was Hitlers personal meddling in the planning of the campaign and his insistence to take Stalingrad instead of just encircling it and moving on towards Moscow. The unexpected early winter combined with the unexpected harshness of it was the final straw that broke the German offensive.

The entire campaign started over 3 months late to begin with. It was by all accounts a shit show from start to finish despite the initial success.

as if everyone in USSR was a Russian

In 1942 - 1943 all western part was occupied, so op arent right, there probably were less russians then germans in 1942 - 1943 because nazi controlled a lot of russia mainland

yes, but do not downplay lend-lease from USA it was huge and vital

>They also were fighting the British Empire, with a population of 220 million.
That Dont count because most of fighting with British and America was irrelevant till 1944 normandy, but germans were already lost in 1944

Taking Moscow would've been unrecoverable loss for soviets because it would mean loss of 100% of European railways to soviets

It was mostly from britain USA was Just too far to send a lot

>The Soviet Population in 1939 was 168.5 million.

and out of those Russian were only 95 million, all the rest were nations occupied by Russians who hated them

The lend lease of Britain was almost insignificant compared to the American lend lease program. They sent Russia entire armies worth of equipment.

no quite the opposite

Sure pal, it's not like the British had railroads in Africa.

>the only reason the germans won previously in europe was due to blitzkrieg
>super quick lightning strikes, supply lines, ammo, food, everything is prepared only for the next few days of fighting
>invade russia
>that country takes up literally half of planet Earth
>after a few successful days, the german invasion is starting to slow down
>oh fuck
>oh no, now it stopped completely
>ahhh scheise
>pic related happened 5 minutes later

Well, you had entire polish, norwegia, france, italy, spanish, chzehian, slovacian and yugoslavia industry

Are you an idiot? Soviets sent hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians to die in Finland, other soviets than Russians should be counted to Soviet strength
