This gives him 3-4 months after January to say he worked at a job (self-employed) which generated 5k+. There is literally no way they can question him about said self-employed job. He will claim he made the 5k sometime in 2020.

They are giving $2000 a month to the poor, if they are not technically eligible, are they really going to go after someone who is broke to pay that money back? That money was spent on rent/food/booze. They will most likely just have it taxable next year at tax time if your net income is high enough.

who the fuck care if he did 5k in 2019? if he can't prove he lost his job because of the covid19 and his 2021 taxes return show he wasn working PRIOR to the quarantine he will have to prove why the COVID prevented him from working.
