Colonialism and slavery is not the real reason though those are the scapegoats. Being an engineered, designated under caste to the most powerful entity in human history fucks us up, our situation is unique and not like immigrant groups. And this is only one difference discovered of hundreds, between white Europeans and a race who has an FST genetic distance of 0.4% to them. Except that's false because the Italian and Irish went through similar attacks and came out fine. That shows culture has a large impact on how someone lives their lives.
