Jurić explained for the tabloid that for him every person, regardless of who they are, by posting photos of naked children support pedophilia.
I don't care about what higher cause is in question, artistic freedom, interest or something else, for me a child is sacred. That is the safety of every child. The photograph that caused an uproar of comments is the work of Marina Abramović from 2007. titled "Vladkka". The artist in this work is again "discussing" with religious iconography and is shown like many reneisance pictures of the Maddona with Jesus, except she's pointing at the baby's female sex organ.
"Vladkka" for historians of art with whom the Serbian telegraph has contacted with seems similar to the works that Abramović was doing at that time with children in Laos, that had to do with growing up in environments and circumstances in which violence and war are part of the everyday. Art historians are unanimous in the opinion that everyone experiences an art piece in their own way, through personal experience, with their knowledge and information they possess about the piece in that moment.
Marina's themes are her childhood and relationship with her parents and the artist has made many works on the themes of children and childhood, mostly presenting children through the paradigm of innocence and honesty.
Jurić's list
Igor Jurić has earlier made public the information that he has a list that holds the names of people in power that have sexually assaulted kids, however he said that he doesn't want to make the names public until he has all the evidence. As he said in January "It's a public secret that no one had the courage to bring to the public".
The evidence and photos we posses, and is in regards to famous public figures that abuse children, aren't just in my posession, two of my friends also have them and if something happens to me they will publish it - said Jurić then.
