The fact that a crazed jewish man (Wortman) was able to kill 22 people over the course of 15+ hours should be an argument that Canadians should be able to own guns because the police cannot protect them. Seconds count when the cops are only 15 hours away (and they have no legal requirement to protect you).
What we have here is a non licensed guy killed a cop and took her gun and shot people. The libs now want to use that to take licensed gun owners property. He was prohibited from buying guns in 2001 after an assault. He was already "gun controlled" but that didn't stop him from killing a female officer and taking her gun.
The reason so many people died is because the shooter was impersonating a police officer in a country where police have total authority and are the only people allowed to carry weapons. Nobody was able to defend themselves, everybody complied, everybody died.
