It is an excellent book about space jews and space jihadis.
I believe there is a new 'Dune' movie coming out, and a new Dune series.
Anyway... I loved playing Dune II (precursor to modern RTS games)

Funny how games back then were actually way more fun than the games of today...
It's both based and redpilled
Yes. Its an amazing series
Read the first book, and it was fine, but disappointing given the hype. Does it get better?
How?
Not bad, but I hate those books about a Messiah with supernatural powers
It’s a good read. The Lynch movie was interesting as a sort of campy 80s rendition but left a lot to be desired. The Sci Fi mini series were surprisingly very good. Of course, they’re made for tv shows and the budget constraints limited the CGI. I would like to see HBO or amazon prime do a 10-episode or so rendition of the book. The upcoming movie will be utter garbage and they’ve already started casting niggers in it.
First two books ("Dune" and "Dune Messiah") are must read. Based is too small a word for it.
3rd book ("Children") is worth reading but YMMV. Some cool shit happens, but, like a lot of late 20th century sci-fi, it stops being a story and starts being a ranty blog post manifesto.
4th book is literally a guy on a throne ranting about how "the world should be". Couldn't finish it.
I hate when you try to talk to someone about Dune and they can't even understand the concept of future-mankind's industry being controlled by clans rather than corporations. Then you mention sand worms and you get this look.
No.
just say giant brown penis instead
Dune does a really good job of explaining that his "powers" aren't really supernatural at all, he's just acheived Peak Redpill Awareness as a result of multiple factors (breeding, luck, training, etc.) all crashing together at once.
it's a great book, but if you're the kinda yank that's allergic to everything muslim or arab you'll hate it.
much "hail the life of the space bedouins", literally
consoom more fiction
Yes. The fourth book is the best.
Who controls the past controls the spice. Who controls the spice controls the future.
>The spice must flow
There is a space of cunning space jews as far as I remember.
Imperialism
Nationalism
Manipulation
Conspiracies
War
Religion
Grey and grey morality
Basically star wars for adults
one of the best sci fi ever written. movies/mini series are shit. I recomment watching movies/mini series first then read the book.
yes read this instead. sequel is good, 3rd book ok, but skip 4th and forward
it won't if you thought the first book was meh. but, you really should learn about Alia of the Knife
I read the first 3 books. Definitely deep, but I think a lot of people don't even try to understand the politics in it. "Wheels within wheels within wheels."
>4th book is literally a guy on a throne ranting about how "the world should be". Couldn't finish it.
too bad. it's a good set up for the roller coaster ride that is Heretics>Chapter House. then sadness as you then know that Chapter House was a cliff hanger and Herbert died b4 he could write it
>inb4 son brian
don't even....
Based and spice pilled. It's a great sci-fi read with interesting points on the dangers of armed messiahs, also giant worms
This meme is so fucking cringe. Just read the first 3 books like Frank Herbert intended you absolute faggot.
On the 4th book now, not terrible. Space buddhists was a bad idea
Good book and good series. Sucks it's a little space hippyish though by the end of the series.
Nigger
space jews too
