Yeah I never had any issue quitting cigs either, it takes me almost 2 weeks to finish 1 pack and I stop for months. Heroin on the other hand...
Brandon King
Quitting smoking was easy once I quit drinking

Yes. Addiction is just a lack of self controlis, which is simply weakness. I've dabbled in many different drugs in my younger years. My weak friends were completely consumed while I was entirely unaffected. For example, I did percocet fairly regularly with a friend. I simply quit while he graduated to heroin and started robbing people for his fix.
Xavier Anderson
You just explained any and all agendas and dogmas mankind has been carrying on for over a millennia. The weak need guidance and creed

These two really run hand in hand, I'm fairly certain they influence the body in very similar ways in terms of promoting addiction.
James Hernandez
It's slightly physically addictive but more than that psychologically due to the social stigma around it and easy availability for purchase, most people are afraid of the shock they will expose their metabolism to by quitting immediately which can result in weight gain as cigarettes work as an appetite suppressant and metabolic enhancer while it's far simpler to quit at once than keep at a moderate determined number of pieces

>in my mid30s. >smoking most of my time since 19. >Have periods where I stopped without issue. >didn't get addicted til 29 or 30 due to work stress. >haven't smoked for a month now. >had serious desire for about two weeks
stay away form them, you're probably young, given enough time you'll get addicted somehow.
Ian Ramirez
I remember a comedian saying > smoking is like pissing > drinking is like shitting > you can piss without shitting > but you can't shit without pissing
Jack Martinez
Triumph of the will my dude Can't believe all these idiot coomers blaming their addictions for failure. You're an addict cuz your a failure not the other way around. I've done coke, Molly, weed, acid, meth and even snorted heroin once. Then I quit all of them because it was just a waste of time.
Ryder Powell
more like u had to give up smoking cus u live at home with mommy n fucking daddy … what a fag …
Jordan Roberts
Yesterday was the first day I didn’t get high in over a month. I just didn’t feel like it.
David Rogers
Same but meth. Turns out vices are super easy to drop once they are no longer convenient to acquire.
This sleeping once a day thing seems like a waste of time though.
Nathan Rodriguez
nah bro, just jump straight to meth
Chase Carter
I'm trying to get my Dad to stop during lockdown. He's weak, but we're getting there slowly.
Angel Reed
Then you weren't addicted. Duh.
Grayson Ross
That's good user To anyone else, don't go the patch route or go down any other nicotine replacement route. The addiction is to tobacco, which has way more than nicotine, including things that act like MAO inhibitors. Mice have been shown to completely ignore nicotine until combined with other compounds (not the right word, whatever...). Nicotine however is an interesting nootropic and can be semi-safely consumed without smoking. Very useful chit worth investigating.
Hudson James
Yeah cigarette addiction is a meme. I get a little pissy for a week and then I'm good, alcohol on the other hand
John Cox
Everybody isn't you you fucking retard.
Jace Hall
Cigarettes are seriously addicting. Quitting smoking felt like I was hungry but wasn't allowed to eat for 2 weeks. It was doable but not easy.
Jaxson Harris
Meth isn't that bad if done in moderation. using small amounts is exactly the same as adderrall. Gives extra umph to house & computer projects.
Grayson Perez
Smoker I quit years ago. It is a meme. Literally the only withdrawal is wanting to smoke. All you have to do is not smoke a couple days and you’re free
My weed ran out 4-5 days ago and I'm too lazy to get more. I've been an once a day user for 2-3 years or so. Just having slight trouble falling asleep but that's it.
Owen Flores
Drinking is kind of tough.
I quit for a year and I'm back drinking.
Jose Miller
How long were you smoking prior to quitting? I’ve been smoking for 9 years now and cigs? Easy to quit. Weed on the other hand holy shit that has withdrawals
Anthony Brown
This is going to sound blue-pilled but addiction is a disease. Pleasures Unwoven is a great documentary that helps explain this phenomenon better, as well as why all of the symptoms of addiction fit the standard disease model: >archive.org/details/PleasureUnwovenByKevinMcCauley
Essentially, anyone can be chemically dependent on an addictive substance but that doesn't necessarily dictate that they are an addict as a result of said dependency. Eg. Thanks to turbo-kikes like the Sackler family, your grandma can be chemically dependent on oxycodone and, if her prescription is taken away, she will undoubtedly go through a hellish withdrawal process BUT, that doesn't make her an addict. Addiction is a brain disease which is largely the result of a genetic predisposition. Like other neurological disorders, it can often remain hidden until it is triggered by outside factors (child abuse, rape, experimental drug use, etc.). In short, this is why is much easier for non-addicts to quit smoking than it is for addicts to do the same. Go to any NA meeting and you'll quickly see that everyone there drinks ~5 Big Gulps of coffee and smokes at least a pack of cigs a day. They've just swapped one admittedly less harmful addition for another.
don't worry, you are just coping you used to be cool, now you are just a quitter sorry
Gabriel Hernandez
dude if you try things out like meth and heroin you are a failure even if you are lucky enough to not get addicted to it.

Actually this.
I've been a on and off smoker and vaper for years, I smoke when I have a lot to do at work or when I'm at parties but I never feel like I "need to smoke".
I do miss the extra alertness that nicotine brings, but there is no "withdrawal".
