Mediocre measures VS hard measures

Sweden: Liberal loving government
Austria: Conservative hardline government

Decide for yourself.
Of course, US is a different story. It's not that dense population wise and the heat is destroying the virus already. I would demonstrate too if I was living there.

and they call sweden a success
fuck 99,9% of world population is just full of shit

This means nothing. Active case means positive test. Are they all in icu? Are they all dying? No. Literally nothing. Sage.

Kurz cuck kys.

I don't care. Literally at all.

*fires shot gun in the air*

Deaths: Sweden has 3 times the amount of deaths than Austria.
3x
user,
Sweden per Mil.: 192
Austria per Mil.: 57
Although we had all these ski resorts open even tho people knew there was the virus spreading.

Except Sweden will reach herd immunity and stabilise while Austria will go through multiple peaks and troughs and end up with a much higher death rate. Sweden listened to their epidemiologists and didn't destroy their economy for the next 10 years. Liberal or not they got it right.

They have the same population as Portugal, 1/4 of the population density and yet twice as much deaths, even if they test just 1/3 of what we do.

I'm quite liberal myself. But everybody here loves conservatives, especially the US burgers.
So I thought they might learn something, and european conservative is still lightyears ahead of any US liberal.

user, they don't do testing at all and have three times the amount of deaths per Mil.
Your graph explains shit, too...
When they reach herd immunity, we can all get free soap for the next few years.

Herd immunity is the right approach.
However, the UK has a much higher population density than Sweden, so this comparison is retarded.

It's the death rate that counts. No country has accurate figures on infections. Herd immunity or a vaccine is the only way the death rate stabilises and Austria is far off either of those.
>comparison is retarded
I guess, but it's just to show that lockdowns don't necessarily mean a reduction in deaths.

>trying to defend retards
But yeah, same thing in Czechia and Poland

When they get to around 50K deaths in Sweden they will freak the fuck out and slap down restrictions worse then ANYBODY. Watch. They aren’t even into the exponential phase yet. In fact they aren’t even out of the “noise” phase and into a signal. Look at the # of New Deaths for Sweden. Does that look like “signal” to you?

>they hated sweden because they were free to live their lives.
jealous faggot,
aren't austrians known for most calloused knees?

>being jealous of Sweden
kek

Active cases is a horse shit metric and only reflects testing. Hundreds of millions worldwide caught the virus. The real mortality rate is below 0.1%.

LOL. Leave talking about “knees”. Fucking hilarious.

Maybe. They seem pretty okay with so far though.
bloomberg.com/amp/news/articles/2020-04-19/sweden-says-controversial-covid-19-strategy-is-proving-effective

ofc they have way more cases

The UK didn't do that much of a lockdown.
They were really lazy on that.
If you remember, they wanted to reach herd immunity too

>jealous of faggot Sweden
>leaf
flag checks out. lmfao

If we are trashing the world economy just because of a virus that kills slightly more than flu somebody will pay for this.

See this, just the first minutes and put the subtitles in your language:

Like I said, they still aren’t out of the “noise” phase and certainly aren’t into the “Exponential Phase”. Will they get there? Yes, unless they do something to avoid it they will go through all the stages of an epidemic. IOW, they haven’t even started yet.

Once their hospitals start being over run they’ll regret this.

>The UK didn't do that much of a lockdown.
That's true bit it could also mean they will have to go through less lockdown cycles in the future. It's hard to know but at the moment it looks like most other countries are just postponing their death rates while destroying their economies.

Forget about different lockdown cycles.
As soon as our countries open, we will fly visiting the Big Bang, japanese waifus and the sicilian mafia.
You think people will turn away from globalization? They are hooked, man..

What will you guys do in 3 months when you reopen your economies and people start getting sick again? Will you close everything down again?

Attached: 1587175605700.png (761x591, 450.79K)

we will never let gooks back into our country so don’t have to worry about that.

Sweden only reports positive tests, not "active cases"

i.e. no hospital discharges

Nice comparison

but no popultaion has ever reached herd immunity for qa cornao virus, adn there is no reason to think that people will be immune for long. if at all. second infection has been reported in many cases. herd immunity requires huge death count first - you want to loose ten percent of the population? also second infection in people already with scarred lungs is even more deadly.

The virus WE get will be the one YOU GUYS attenuated for us. Thanks in advance.

>demonstrate
*protest

So? You realize that the point of the lockdown is to flatten the curve, not to prevent deaths, right? If Covid kills 100k people, all the lockdown does is spread that 100k over a period of a year, while those without a lockdown will have 100k killed over a few months.

The negative of no lockdown is hospitals could get overwhelmed leading to bigger problems. The positive is your economy is fine, and everyone moves on with their lives much faster.

The negative of lockdown is that you fuck your economy, and make the pain from it last very long, but possibly prevent hospitals from being overwhelmed.

He actually wants 10-20% of old people dying. Sick fucker
Boomer remover my ass.

You realize those people are going to die anyway, right? Theres no chance of Corona just disappearing from society now. The only way you can be guaranteed to not get it is if you isolate yourself for the rest of your life.

People will get it, people will die, whether it's in the shorter term or longer term when the lockdown is over. If it has a 10% mortality rate like you said, then 10% of the population will die. A lockdown just makes that happen over the course of a year rather than a few months.

So let's actually look at the numbers.
statista.com/statistics/1107913/number-of-coronavirus-deaths-in-sweden-by-age-groups/
So in Sweden 1937 people died of coronavirus. 1232 of those were over 80. At any point, if you drop dead over 80, it's just is what it is. You were 80, you were going to die anyway. They don't count.
1937-1232=705
So now we see, that so far, Sweden only lost 705 people. Or is it that simple? Not really. In all the civilized world, if you fly a commercial plane, you get retired at 65 because you are too old. No if or but's, you're retired at 65. No amount of "I'm healthy at 65" or "I can still run a marathon" will help you. 65 and you are too old to fly a plane with passengers. In the UK you are also too old to perform surgery after 65. Basically, we can can conclude that after 65, you're old as fuck. So we also remove everyone dying over 70.
705-455=250
So now, we see Sweden only lost 250 people in this pandemic. Or is it that simple? Not really. Because 65 was the cutoff. So we take the 60-69 agegroup and cut that in half.
148/2=74
250-74=176
So now we see that Sweden only lost 176 people in this pandemic. Or is it really that simple? NOT REALLY! Because Sweden has a fair amount of niggers and sandniggers and they are overrepresented in these statistics. Let's say they make a third of all victims.
176x0,66=116
So actually, Sweden has lost 116 productive people in this pandemic. Assuming all 116 swedes were productive members of society that is.
