It seems the American right wing, specifically the MIGA camp, has gone into full "blame China" mode, and while it is certainly true China is to blame for a big part of this debacle, a lot of it seems like a move to shield Trump from criticism. For example, he's just now stopping immigration into the US, something he was voted in to do four years ago. The virus is already rampant in the country and merely a month a go he was saying it was just a flu bro, we need to consoom for the economy.
