He was trying to get the fuck out of a city where the police literally threw legal demonstrators straight into a crowd of violent savages and was funneled into a 1-way street where two cars inexplicably stopped and a crowd formed. The entire event was an exercise in state repression and he's a political prisoner without a doubt, along with many others who are locked away and waited over a year for a trial, violating almost all of their constitutional rights in the process Life+419 years for accidentally running a fat bitch over, seriously? Even that spic that cobbed the white girl in Iowa got a change of venue so it wouldn't be locals going after him, Fields was forced to have the trial in Charlottesville where the judge literally turned to the jury and told them what decision to make.
Here's a report on how the state and local authorities completely botched the rally, paid for by the city itself where they're blamed entirely for the deaths (yes, two cops died in a helicopter crash that everybody seems to forget about)

I don't know if any are left on jewtube but livestreams literally showed the police pushing demonstrators off Lee Park straight into the violent mob. All but one access point to the park was closed off and police provided no clear path to entry (violating their constitutional obligations), forcing demonstrators to literally fight their way to Lee Park. This was then used as justification to illegally shut down the event

2. The protesters wouldn't let him through and we're beating on his car with signs, bats, and a number of other things.
3. He felt his life was threatened so he accelerated through the crowd.
4. The protestor that died literally weighed close to 400lb. Videos showed he didn't hit her directly, she just kind of bounces off the side of his car.
5. Because the bump was probably the most physical activity her heart had received in more than 15 years, she had a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest (mind you she's in her 20s).
6. Because the media narrative was that the Charlottesville rally was full of Nazis and white supremacists, they saw this as a golden opportunity to paint them as murderers.
7. He was too poor to afford an attorney so he was given an unsympathetic public attorney.
8. The judge wanted to score political points so they tried to make a show out of the whole trial and the sentencing about how evil Nazism and white supremacy is.
9. Because of everything above he was given a much stricter sentence than one would get from a normal vehicular manslaughter case.
I hope he tells the truth about the case someday. Unfortunately nobody will hear it outside of Yas Forums.
