I feel this is true across the board. Almost every single comment is designed to pull something out of you and tear things down, it sucks. Yas Forums imo is still better than a lot of subs I go to, bc people have actual opinions here sometimes.
I’ve noticed this on /m/ a lot. It’s become much more mean spirited. I mean there was always people who would argue over which show was better and why yours sucked, but now it’s just for shutting down any conversation. I remember some of the niche interest boards having fairly civil and nice anons that shared a hobby.
