It displaces half a million jobs at the bottom levels of white collar positions, and forces downward mobility on the bottom rungs of the middle class, which means half a million displaced and overqualified workers end up getting their choice of blue collar positions and blue collar workers get to pick from the scraps.

Most Indians and Chinese workers who receive H1-b have STEM degrees (M.S. or higher) or M.B.A degrees from good schools. What's wrong in giving people with graduate degrees jobs?

Which is valid for three years plus a three year renewal. So multiply your number by six. Plus there are tons of cap exceptions where the visa is issued but doesn't count against the 85,000 limit. There are approximately 600,000 H1B visa holders currently in the United States.

H1B's take all the entry level jobs and are a pain to work with. They create more work for Americans because they mess up everything they touch.
