BOTH parties are fully for the merging of government and corporate bodies. small government and large government can both work extremely well (depending on popular support, like all political structures), but when you merge government and corporate interests is really when you start running into problems. local monopolies, plutocracy masquerading as "networking", corporations that are "too large to fail" (a straight up admission that this private sector market is now merged with the government), and the ability for both corporate and government bodies to completely clamp down on your rights as citizens whenever they want. it STILL boggles my mind that an employee can be fired for something they say OUTSIDE of work, shit should be illegal but the government does the exact same thing.

Most people here do understand that the stockholders want cheap, not good IT people.
What the people here DON'T understand is that first generation of IT people who didn't have schools teaching them and putting them into debt, thus creating this generation of sphincters who do not share information and managers who are not IT skilled, but are instead, arm twisters that obsess on numbers while gutting the infrastructure.
IT isn't much of a fit for Unions but I think we boomers do need to teach this generation a bit about self-managing and focusing on the product, not producing a resume with bogus and unneeded edgy skills while keeping Mommy manager's lap warm.

Maybe something needs to be done to stockholders, most of whom are Jews and boomers anyways. And non-Americans.
