Net admin here, keep in mind that certain vpn's do create temporary default route - and route all your traffic through that connection. If it goes through company then they likely see your traffic history.
Its important that you bind your devices to specific network interfaces instead of using default route - especially in windows where its designed like shit from get-go.

a lot of people are working from home right now and using personal devices to log onto work environments. Citrix receiver creates those virtual environments from your personal device but allows your employer to spy on your personal PC. You dont even have to be logged onto your virtual workstation, just having the receiver installed will allow a host of malware and keyloggers that will be sent to your company.

I work in IT and if I got fired I'd take that sweet unemployment gibs until it runs out then I'd get another job in IT that pays even better than the one I have now. If you work in IT you know this is true.
