The $1200 stimulus package has been a complete shit show. There are people who have received checks before others got direct deposit, dead people are getting money before living people and people can’t get into the site.
Dems are proposing a $2k a month stimulus package for 6 months to a year, or keeping a rent/mortgage freeze going for that long. We won’t hear solid news on this for a couple days at least.
I have a few concerns, including the fact that I have yet to see any source on where this money would be coming from. How is printing funny money supposed to help the economy if we are just giving it right back. Wouldn’t it just even out what they printed lol?

I’m not really worried about it. I’m in a 2 income household and we both still work so I won’t miss $1200 honestly. It would be nice to have some spending money tho.

Text of the bill isn't available but I guarantee there will be a ton of SJW shit attached. Federal minimum wage, transgender surgery funding, dismantling of ICE, climate change, you name it. Then when the Senate blocks Pelosi and Schumer will excoriate Republicans for "holding Americans hostage for their ideological agenda." We know how this works.
