The newest russian tank T-14 (Armata) was tested in Syria, says russian official

The new Russian tank T-14 Armata was tested in Syria, said the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.

"Yes, that's right ... they were in Syria," he said on Sunday in the characters from Naila Asker-zade on the Russia-1 television channel (VGTRK).

According to the minister, these tanks were sent to Syria "in order to take into account all the nuances in combat conditions." "In Syria, as you know, it is precisely this kind of test," Manturov said, noting that this would help form the "final look" of the tank, which will be supplied to the Russian army.

As the minister noted, his serial deliveries to the army will begin in 2021.

According to him, the T-14 Armata is an expensive tank. “It (Armata - IF) is expensive because it goes through a cycle of additional tests and modernization. As production and supply volumes increase, of course, the price will decrease,” Manturov said.

The minister said that the machine is very technically advanced, and equipped with the most advanced technological solutions, "crammed with electronics, it has a special design, taking into account the requirements that were presented by the main customer - the Ministry of Defense."

In addition, the minister said that the T-14 Armata will be exported in the future. "Starting next year, after the machines are already being mass-produced, the Ministry of Defense will receive work with foreign customers when they receive an export passport," he said.

Answering a question in the program about such applications, Manturov stated that "preliminary, given that we cannot provide all the documentation to our foreign customers, there are preliminary".

T-14 - the world's only tank of the third post-war generation.

/ku/ when?

How will the oil crisis affect assad? will the us get out of syria since oil is worthless?

There is a lot less motivation to fight in Libya for the foreign powers

Soon

Attached: _homefront_game-wide.jpg (1920x1200, 763.14K)

Assad has been importing his oil, so it's very good for him as a buyer. Those who are smuggling oil out of Syria and supporting groups with the cash will struggle, which is also good for Assad

Oil wasn't the primary reason for their presence in the first place, but I think we're definitely witnessing a decling of the alliances and the weakening political will of the US. I think Trump would gtfo completely if he could, if only because he's a coward.

In lybia or Syria?
How dependent on oil are terrorist groups in the north of Syria?

SDF is literally a shell built around the DeZ pumps with no diversifications. TFSA have all of Turkey as an economic back end. US is of course, there for the oil.

Syrian govt economy had to diversify from oil a while ago, having their camps occupied; for their black market evading the sanctions, these low prices will flood that market with cheap oil to buy.
