Any reason for me to believe that? Because otherwise it sounds like paranoia. From what I've seen, nobody except Yas Forums cares about pagans and sees them as amusing roleplayers for the most part - from every religious group I've encountered. Dogmatically speaking, we dont know shit about God. We know he is the creatore of everything, us included, whatever we can make/do is because he enable us so, and that he loves us. Not sexually or romantically but unconditionally as a father loves his son.

Now regardless if someone believes in his existence, there are some cold facts that everyone with an IQ higher than a dead octopus must accept.
1st is that religion no matter which one generally puts rules and laws so that society can have a frame of reference in which can grow and prosper. An ethical compass if you may. You may say humans can make laws and rules as well. Yes, but a society that believes that an omnipotent being watches everything you do and NOT JUST when the cops are around, generally behaves according to the rules. Also is predicated more on the reward (i.e. eternal happy afterlife) and not on the punishment (i.e. jail). So its historically proven that religion and civilization go together. One way to see it is not that all societies for some weird reason had religions, but that societies that DIDNT have a religion where wiped out in a natural selection way.

Secondly, religions and God worshipping generally offered some secondary utilities that we, in 2020, have the luxury to have developed in another level. Phycological therapeutic methods were implemented originally through religion. Later we took that away and we then announced its a "human thing". No, we just stole the method like the niggers we are. Religion offers guidance and consolance without expensive marriage councilors, psychotherapists and what have you.

All in all if you want someone to tell you what the world is around you, you ask science.

If you want to know HOW to live in that world you ask religion.

If you still ask why we worship God, and the answer "because he has the answer to the ultimate question" is not good enough for you then you are either stupid or just trolling.
