The more history I read, the more I'm convinced we should go back to monarchies. Prove me wrong.

Name one good monarch in the last 100 years
A good monarchy is better than the best republic, but a bad monarchy can be an absolute disaster
It was the best system ever devised (not perfect but comparatively) you can't go back now though. Too late. Who would you even crown and how? What crown?
I literally can't. Why would I argue against the best system of government to exist?
Elizabeth II.
Benevolent dictators(the only good monarchy) are a one a millenia phenomenon,
and can be maintained at most for 4 generations before becoming despotic.
Prove me wrong.
This
The ensuing violent revolutions allow society to right its course faster. Republicanism just leads to society stagnating as it becomes shittier and more third world, attempting to vote its way back to homogeneity even as the heterogenous elements vote in the opposite direction.
Autocracy is better for a nation state, republicanism is better for the individual but most individuals are painfully fucking retarded and will never actually defend their interests or educate themselves to actually know what is going on.
We'd just have to start new monarchies. Whoever invades enough land to create a successful monarchy in the 21st century first wins.
You're right, and I would prefer Republics, but I can't see how current governments can be maintained with the plummeting IQ of the masses.
Classical liberalism and the industrial revolution flourished only after the eugenic effects of the black death.
Why aren’t all of you watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes right now
I have that on my plan to watch list. 100 episodes of an old OVA is something I have to dedicate a lot of my time into.
>Blocks your path
Watch it NOW
My Conquest is the Sea of Stars
Overture to a New War (watch between 54 and 55)
Main series 110 eps
There’s prequel and retelling stuff but not necessary
Even if you have a good king, his children will be retarded spoiled brats that didn't have to earn their success.
There's more to it but that's sufficient, also any American that genuinely believes in monarchy should be quietly assassinated by the CIA.
Otto von Habsburg
An educated and politically literate population or benevolent leaders of a republic that compare to some of the best monarchs are a one in a millennia phenomenon. Prove me wrong.
If a dictatorship every emerges in USA, the CIA will be sucking their dick and/or the cause of it. The entire existence of the CIA is based on the technocratic delusions of big government types.
In the future, after the fiat collapse, there may be financial monarchies. He who holds the most bitcoin shall reign like a feudal king.
Hapsburgs are why everything went to hell im insulted
>didn't have to earn their success
I'd argue, why should it be anyone else? The king's children will be taught from birth how to be the best ruler they can be, and they'll also have all of the country's history to see what worked and didn't.
Quite easy. The inertia of the conflicting factions in Republics limits the damage that one man or group can do in a given time frame.
The system worked so well it never collapsed, it simply ran out of ways to expand and so was taken over by the bourgeoisie and capitalism relatively peacefully.
Going back would mean giving up the prosperity of capitalism. going back would mean returning the the past conditions which lead us to where we currently are, and thus going back is simply staying in place. The future is always forward.
Doesn't make sense, more like, everything around the Habsburgs went to hell.
The Habsburgs always upheld legitimate authority, right, and law in the Imperium Romanum.
>Implying that history is directional and only leads to improvement
Glad to see there are still some monarchists on Yas Forums.
People in literally every culture thought monarchy was the best form of government until the French revolution. Thousands of years vs. a few hundred. Since then democracy has been pushed by kikes and degenerates, who have succeeded in destroying the essence of nations.
Yes it's true that a ton of monarchs sold out to kikes at some point in history, and some had inbreeding problems, but most people who aren't brainlets understood that when one dynasty has become corrupt its simply time to replace it with another dynasty that isn't shit. Changing the government to a congress or parliament of kike employees isn't the solution.
Anyone read the Mad Monarchist's blog, what do you think?
Monarchy can be good, but absolute monarchies are too centralized. Something like integralism or distributism with a king
Because I've already watched it. tho I might rewatch it soon
>until the French revolution.
Our revolution preceded theirs.
If they’re utterly incompetent. Maybe they don’t want to serve?
A merit based autocracy sounds ideal, but it raises questions.
Who decides what is merit?
Limits on power? Checks and balances?
If the government decides merit who’s to say it won’t easily fall to corruption?
Really there is no good system, only what keeps the people fed and happy at a certain point in time.
If I were forced to vouch for autocracy, I would give it the merit of being the fire which burns down the decrepit forest —in which the seeds of republics are sewn.
>Implying that history is directional and only leads to improvement
Yes
>People in literally every culture thought monarchy was the best form of government
This! Monarchism was present literally everywhere throughout almost all of history! Democracy on the other hand, had to be "discovered", and was forcefully brought in.
>Bronze age collapse
>Fall of Roman Empire
>Black death
>Flag
Your type as always, the biggest brainlets around.
My family fought for the crown, and you left us behind to get raped by the pirates. The people occupying the throne are pretenders and they've been pretending for hundreds of years.
Because the few remaining non-constitutional monarchies being despotic shitholes isn't enough proof for you?
I must have missed this meme flag
>white instead of anarchist black
>mirrored diagonal direction
Based, though the missing complex heraldry is disappointing
Honestly Washington should have taken the King option. I get the humility of not wanting lifelong rule and I respect that, but history is littered with struggles which are basically the same as the American revolution. There are some distant rulers you don't like so you take up arms and fight them out. That shit has been happening since the bronze age, and in every case a new king became the symbol and rallying point of a free people.
The Americans, like a lot of people at that time, were just bandwagoning on the enlightenment philosophy, the exact same strain of thought that produced the French revolution.
The founding fathers had it right the first time, land owners.
Don't use a cringy weeb picture to support my ideology you subhuman mound of whatever waste product is left from the cocaine you make
